Rolls Royce and Reliance Industries Limited announce their strategic intent to partner and offer capabilities for the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of a sovereign indigenous combat engine for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft #AMCA Programme. This marks the return of @RIL_Updates into the defence sector. This partnership is for @RollsRoyce’s bid for the co-development of a 120kN engine for #AMCA-Mk2. India has been in talks with Safran of France for the engine development but the final deal is pending. Meanwhile, Rolls Royce has presented a detailed proposal promising extensive tech transfer and control over IP.
