2026 Mindset

It is not often that I feel like something has to be addressed in a detailed way, but today I saw something which really made me question a lot of things. One of the biggest issues that is currently plaguing the country right now is the idea that abuse builds character/abuse is the best way of teaching. So recently, I started training boxing with this coach, who is taking classes for kids along with a couple of college-going chaps. Now, the training is intense and most of the kids are slackers. But I honestly don't blame them because a sport like boxing isn't something you can teach kids. I think this comes down to two major reasons. First of course is the fact that kids don't and rarely if ever have the kind of dedication and discipline needed for it, and second, the brain damage isn't worth it. Now, first can be fixed with improvements in training methods, which in turn helps avoid the second. But from what I've seen working with this lunatic of a coach is that he is maximising brain damage on kids who are as young as 11, through his methods. The entire thing boils down to, "if you can't understand what I'm saying a couple of hits will make you figure it out." So, during some sessions, the coach teaches how to hold a guard. The guy just literally beats the kids, same story when pad work is happening. The guy has no idea of technique or how to break it down so kids can understand. The same legacy is carried forward by his student, who was doing the same today. The straw that broke the camel's back was when he bragged about a kid leaving because he was getting beaten up every day in practice. This pattern of abusing people who are trying to learn seems to be deeply ingrained into the Indian boomer and semi-dehati psyche, which hasn't encountered \civilized nations and their methods. The entire thing makes me wonder, what are these retards passing to the next generation except trauma from abuse? One of the good things about increased contact with the West and America in particular is that these kinds of retardations are being exposed. People have started to understand common sense and humanity to a great extent.
