You'll find this phrase useful while you are shopping, the shopping assistant approaches you but you don't want to buy anything yet... Present continuous in Italian: Conjugated verb stare + gerund You'll need the verb "stare": Io sto Tu stai Lui, lei sta Noi stiamo Voi state Loro stanno Then you have to transform a verb into a gerund form. In English: speak ➡️ speaking In Italian: parlare ➡️ parlando PARLARE + NDO VEDERE + NDO FINIRE + ENDO ANDARE + NDO As you can see the good thing is that even irregular verbs create the gerund regularly.
