Trading plan serves as a road map for a trader in the market.. it stipulate a strong and strict rules that needs to be followed without any excuses if one wants to be successful in the LONG RUN in the market place. Trading plans are drafted based on a strict rules that are deduced from a personal decision and experience which are attained on long hours spent on the charts through studying and backtesting to see peculiar market behavior through patterns and concepts studied: Elements/components of Trading plan. Trading plan contains a very straight set of rules that guides the trader in the market place. These includes but not limited to: 1. Entry Rules: this rule specify what one needs to look for in order to engage in the market place... it outlines a specific time frame for direction, alignments, confluences and a specific timeframe to place orders. 2. Exit Rules 3. Trade management Rules 4. Risk management rules 5. Play book which has pictorial images printed with all the conditions for market place engagements. For the constraints of time, I can’t explain each but I will share some sections of my trading plan here. I adjust my trading plan accordingly as I move along in the market place and see certain things differently as they appear to me more clearly. I hope this will help. Thank you 🙏
