Lately been experimenting with real time hand tracking libraries and came up with an idea to build AirType (Floating Keyboard) with my friend @bleztam.The project runs entirely in the browser using your webcam, we used MediaPipe Hands for real time tracking and a canvas rendered keyboard you type on by pinching your fingers together. The keyboard activates when you raise a closed fist toward the camera, from there you hover over keys with your index fingertip and pinch to register a keystroke. It tracks up to two hands simultaneously so you can type with both. We added autocorrect and word predictions on top via the Claude API autocorrect fires on spacebar and surfaces an inline suggestion you can accept or dismiss, predictions show the three most likely next words given the current context. So yeah, feel free to try it out and comment as always with other ideas and improvements link to the project
