A bit of a BTS (behind-the-scenes, not the Korean boyband). I send packages in "manual mode" (there is no way to provide the list of content in digital form). But in order to speed up the process I ALWAYS provide a physical list with description of the contents in English, Serbian as well as quantity and (what's important to this story) weight of each item So what happened? The postal worker took the contents (balloons + postcard + stickers) in 2 packets, weighted just ONE packet and crossed out my weight for the balloons. Then placed the second packet and crossed the weight of the stickers and put whole the weight of that packet into stickers. For context. Packet 1 had ONLY balloons. Packet 2 had gift balloons + postcard + stickers. So THEN and only then after she already deemed that I measured everything is wrong AND with me protesting she realized that I measured everything correctly and... it was a big waste of her (and mine) time. I "love" when postal workers think that you dumber than them only to realize that I am not, in fact, dumb. Luckily, most of them are too lazy to actually do all of that and just trust what I pre-measured. After all it's MY signature on the package, not theirs so it would only be their fault if there is some obvious misalignment with reality (which is not the case).

So, basically I saw an ad from a reputable shop that started selling pumps based on the feedback. I guess the customers wanted that - no problem so far. So, I looked at the pump (from the video and pictures) and said to myself - there is NO WAY they actually did any of that work themselves - it's probably just an OEM pump from China. AND... What do you know, I've found THE EXACT pump on AliExpress within the top 10 results. The price to the customer... 2x (and that doesn't account for shipment price from the company while from Ali - the shipment already included in the price) But ok. Company doesn't have to invest millions into making a unique pump if a "good enough" product exists + plus they need some profit. My problem is - the product has far better alternatives for cheaper (we are talking 2.5x+ cheaper WITH shipment). The pump itself doesn't seem to be powerful - the company itself says that it's not for "latex balloons" (among other things) and considering it's size - you likely will have to recharge it often just due to the size of the battery. Why not just have a referral code at that point? And why not put out a better pump instead of choosing the one that is 1. Not powerful 2. Have small battery The only upside is that it's actually small. But that's about it... Rant over

Sorry for the lack of updates. I am trying to catch up to all of the current stuff I need to do, but I just wanted to have a little rant (this time it's actually directly related to balloons and inflatables). If you don't want to read it - skip my next message.
