🔊Dear Students, Westminster International University in Tashkent offers a paid internship opportunity at Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The Learning Resource Centre is looking for a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist LRC staff with a variety of tasks and gain practical experience in library services, customer support, digital resources, and promotional activities. 🕐Working period: starts from September 2, 2026 until May 31, 2027. 🧾 Job duties: - Carry out tasks assigned by the LRC Manager or Head of the LRC Customer Service Unit; - Assist users in locating printed and electronic resources; - Perform daily shelving and keep bookshelves neat and well-organized; - Ensure that library furniture is properly arranged; - Assist in organizing LRC events; - Design and promote LRC services through posters, social media posts, and other promotional materials; - Upload, edit, and maintain catalogue records in the Library Management System; - Provide customer service at the circulation desk, including book check-in and check-out; - Perform any other duties assigned by the LRC Manager or Head of the LRC Customer Service Unit. 📌Candidate Requirements: - Good ICT (Information and Communication Technology); - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; - Creativity, initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude; - Attention to detail and accuracy; - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; - Type of Student desired: Any level, any course. 🔝Compensation: - Part-time paid employment (20 hours per week); - Recommendation letter; - Certificate of completion.
