i was skeptical about reading it because it's centred around an american military unit but it was very anti-war and not once did the author try to paint the american soldiers in a positive light , amazing book (if you ignore the plot twist)

primitive war is one of the best books i have read in the past 4 years if you ignore the unavoidable major plot twist

and they just did the same thing in this movie, drove me crazy

i put the book down and paced around the room every time that stupid plot point was mentioned, it made 0 sense and brought the book down from 4.5 stars to 3 stars because of how ridiculous it was

it reminded me of primitive war's major plot twist

off topic the explaination that some wormhole had transferred oak street to a prehistoric area irked me so bad

i loved it

one of the best pieces of media i have consumed in the past couple of years, the progression was absolutely amazing and they handled each reveal and twist so incredibly well not to mention how well written the characters are, especially verso and maelle
