I’ll be honest with you guys—I’ve never really been a fan of podcasts. But… I’ve watched a couple recently, and I have to say they’re one of the best ways to improve your vocabulary. Want to know why? 👀 1) You learn new words and expressions in context, not in isolation. 2) You hear how native speakers actually use them, so you pick up the most natural way to say things. 3) You don’t just see new vocabulary—you hear it too, so you improve both your vocabulary and your pronunciation at the same time. That’s why I highly recommend adding podcasts to your English routine. Through meaningful conversations with experts and celebrities, you'll pick up useful vocabulary in real-life context. 2. http://www.youtube.com/@callherdaddy - Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper, is one of the world's most popular podcasts. What started as a show about dating and relationships has evolved into honest, unfiltered conversations with celebrities, athletes, and creators about success, mental health, career, and personal growth. Let’s learn some vocabulary with Kendall and Jimmy! 1. 😖 Overwhelming - (adjective) — B2 Something is overwhelming when it is so big, difficult, or emotional that you don’t know how to deal with it. Example: There was so much homework that it felt overwhelming. 2. 🤩 Go viral (verb phrase) — B2 Definition: When something goes viral, it becomes very popular on the internet in a very short time because many people share it. Example: Her video went viral overnight. 3. 🥰 Precious (adjective) — B2 Definition: If something is precious, it is very valuable to you because you love it or it has special meaning. Example: This necklace is precious to me because my grandmother gave it to me. 4. 🤔 Go with your gut (idiom) — C1 Definition: To go with your gut means to trust your feelings or intuition instead of thinking too much.
