‼️ CSS inside webmail can capture passwords and take over accounts. New research demos also show CSS/HTML attack paths across Gmail, Fastmail, Proton Mail, Yahoo Mail, and AOL Mail that can leak tokens, hijack UI actions, or lead to account takeover. See what email CSS can now do: https://thehackernews.com/2026/08/new-css-attacks-can-break-webmail.html

  • 🚀 Intruder: Payload Positions Explained Understanding how payload positions work in Burp Suite Intruder is a must-have skill for every web security enthusiast. Here's a quick breakdown: 🎯 Common Use Cases 📂 Directory Brute Force: Discover hidden files and directories. 🌐 VHOST Enumeration: Find virtual hosts by fuzzing the Host header. 🔐 Login Testing: Test usernames, passwords, or authentication parameters. ⚡ Intruder Attack Types 🔹 Sniper (1 Payload Set) Tests one payload position at a time. Perfect for identifying which parameter is vulnerable. 🔹 Battering Ram (1 Payload Set) Uses the same payload across all marked positions simultaneously. 🔹 Pitchfork (2+ Payload Sets) Sends synchronized payloads to multiple positions (e.g., matching usernames and passwords). 🔹 Cluster Bomb (2+ Payload Sets) Tries every possible combination of payloads. Slowest, but the most comprehensive. 💡 Choosing the right attack type can save hours of testing and improve your results. @melexit #BurpSuite #WebSecurity #CyberSecurity #BugBounty #Melex #Pentesting #Fuzzing #OWASP #RedTeam #InfoSec

  • 📚 DNS (Domain Name System) Basics DNS (Domain Name System) is the internet's phonebook it translates domain names (e.g., example.com) into IP addresses that computers use to communicate. 🗂 DNS Records (a.k.a. Zone Files) Zone files store DNS records and define how a domain behaves. They use a simple syntax like: name TTL class type value 🛠 Common DNS Tools • nslookup – Query DNS records and troubleshoot name resolution. • dig – Advanced DNS lookup with detailed query results. • host – Quick command-line tool for resolving domain names. 📌 Common DNS Record Types • A – Maps a domain to an IPv4 address. • AAAA – Maps a domain to an IPv6 address. • CNAME – Points one domain/hostname to another. • MX – Specifies the mail server responsible for receiving emails. 🌐 The 4 Main DNS Servers 1. Recursive Resolver – Receives your DNS request. 2. Root Server – Directs the query to the correct TLD server. 3. TLD Server – Knows the authoritative server for the domain (.com, .org, etc.). 4. Authoritative Server – Returns the final DNS record (IP address or other record). Understanding DNS is a fundamental skill for networking, cybersecurity, and system administration. @melexit

  • Where do permanently deleted files actually go? They don't go anywhere. When you delete a file, your phone simply marks its storage space as free. The file becomes invisible, and that space is ready for new data. The next files you save eventually overwrite that old data, replacing it bit by bit. So the truth is: Deleted doesn't mean "moved." It means "ready to be replaced." 📱💾 #PERMANENT #DELETION @melexit

  • 🧠 Advanced Cyber Insight: Second-Order Vulnerabilities Most people test inputs… Almost no one tests what happens after the input is stored. This is where second-order bugs live. 💀 Example: You submit payload: alert(1) ✔️ It gets stored safely (no execution) ✔️ Looks patched But later… Another part of the system: Retrieves that data Renders it differently Trusts it And suddenly… XSS triggers. ⚠️ The system wasn’t vulnerable at entry… It became vulnerable at usage. This applies to: Stored XSS SQL injections via delayed queries Template injection Deserialization flows 🔍 Real mindset shift: Don’t ask: “Is this input safe?” Ask: “Where will this data travel next?” Because in complex systems… Data mutates. Context changes. Trust breaks. And that’s where the real exploits are born. Only a few look twice. Stay sharp. @melexit

  • 𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀! 😂 I asked ChatGPT: "Tell me the top 5 things you're curious about humans that are crazy or completely meaningless." 🤖 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆... 1️⃣ Why can one sentence change someone's entire life? * "You can do it." * "You'll never succeed." 2️⃣ Why do people willingly scare themselves? People pay for: * Horror movies * Haunted houses * Roller coasters * Skydiving The brain screams "Danger!" The person says "Again." 3️⃣ Why do humans form emotional attachments to objects? People cry over: * Old phones * Stuffed animals * Broken watches * Childhood blankets * Cars They're just objects... until they're not. 4️⃣ Why do songs unlock memories so powerfully? One song... Suddenly you're back in a place that hasn't existed for years. Music has a direct path to memory. 5️⃣ Why do humans know time is limited but still procrastinate? People know: "Life is short." Then: "I'll start tomorrow." A strange contradiction that never disappears. #Funny #ChatGPT @melexit
