Happy Independence Day Everyone 🇮🇳 Good Morning ❤️ Today, on Independence Day, I do not wish to speak only about freedom, but about those because of whom we are free today. Let us pause for a moment and reflect… the soil on which we stand today without fear was liberated through the sacrifices of countless individuals who gave their lives for the nation. Some mother lost her son, some sister lost her brother, some child lost his father… yet they endured their pain in silence, because for them, India always came first. Bhagat Singh was younger than many of us here, yet his courage was so immense that it compelled an entire empire to bow. Mahatma Gandhi had neither an army nor weapons… he possessed only the strength of truth and non-violence. And Subhas Chandra Bose taught us that freedom is never granted; it is earned through struggle and determination. Today, we are free. However, at times, it feels as though we have become divided by our own small differences. We fight in the name of religion, divide ourselves on the basis of caste, and distance ourselves over language. The nation for which so many sacrificed their lives—does it not deserve even this much from us: that we stand together and move forward as one? Today, a soldier stands far away from his home at the border so that we may sleep peacefully in ours. In return, can we not commit ourselves to honesty, perform our duties with responsibility, and extend support to those in need? Freedom does not merely mean living as we please; it also means living with respect for others. Our freedom fighters gave us an independent India. It is now our responsibility to make it a better one. When the next generation asks us what we did for our country, we should not have just an answer, but a story to tell. A story in which we made sincere efforts to improve and uplift our nation. Today, the tricolour is not only flying in the sky… it is also flying in the dreams of our martyrs.
