Some tips for Jamia Millia Islamia Interview for MA Sociology 1.  Brush up your basics of sociology according to BA or CUET PG Syllabus. 2. Read about the university on wikipedia. Not everything but you should have some idea about the objectives of the university or little bit of history. 3. Read some social issues on minorities, women, child, povety, unemployment etc. 4. Have good knowledge about your own self. For ex: read about the place you belong, read about your hobby or interests. You might be asked on this part. 5. Try to work on confidence that is the main purpose of the interview to check your personality and your way of communication etc. 6. Go to JMI Website. See the faculty list and see what works they have done. Lastly, there are few questions that I am sharing for you all to prepare, not sure if they will ask but its better to prepare something than to nothing. Question 1 : What inspired you to pursue a degree in Sociology? Question 2 : Why chose JMI ? Question 3 : What is the significance of studying Sociology in contemporary society? 🚨 TEST SERIES ALERT 🚨 Jamia Millia Islamia (Sociology) 2026 Test Series Dear Learners, Enrollment is now open for the Jamia Millia Islamia Sociology Test Series 2026. This test series is ideal for those aiming to strengthen concepts, improve accuracy, and practice in a real exam-like environment. Detailed solutions are not provided but doubts will be solved. Each Test will be having 50 MCQ (-0.5 negative) and 3 subjective questions (attempt 2) 15 marks each. Marks will be 30 for subjective. Total Test will be of 80 marks.
