Well since we apparently made international news, I will post a little update here. Three massive fires broke out in our county. We are sandwiched between two evac zones, about a mile from each on either side of us. We are fine, thank God we didn't have to go anywhere, but things were really "interesting" on Saturday. High winds were making everything spread lighting fast that day. It looks like they're getting a handle on the fire closest to us, it hasn't grown, but there is still a 0% containment status on all of them. Every few minutes I hear an air tanker flying over. So much respect for the wildfire crews and nat guard for working their a's off on this.
