From mid-2025, HDB will progressively roll out the Family Care Scheme (FCS) to further strengthen intergenerational family support by promoting proximity living between parents and children. Under the new scheme, priority access to new flats will be given to all parents and their children, regardless of marital status. More details will be shared nearer to implementation. In the meantime, home buyers can continue to apply for a flat under the current priority schemes in the Feb 2025 BTO sales exercise.
