  • ➡️ Chapter: The Obligation of the Congregational Prayer باب وجوب صلاة الجماعة ▫️Al-Hasan al-Basrī said: If his mother prevents him from attending the congregational Ishā prayer out of concern for him, he should not obey her. ▫️Abdullāh ibn Yusuf narrated to us, saying: Mālik informed us, from Abu al-Zinād, from al-Aʿraj, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allāh 🌑 said: By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, I was about to command that firewood be gathered, then I would command that the prayer be called, and it would be called, then I would command a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would go to men who had stayed behind and burn their houses over them. [Sahih al-Bukharī].

  • ⚪️The Prohibition of Depicting Living Beings Narrated by 'Aisha 🩵 : The Messenger of Allāh 🤍 said: The people who will receive the severest punishment from Allāh on the Day of Resurrection are those who imitate the creation of Allāh. [Musnad Ahmad]. Narrated by 'Aisha 🩵 : The Messenger of Allāh 🤍 entered while I was covered with a piece of fabric that had images of statues on it. His face changed with anger. Then he went to the fabric and tore it with his hand. Then he said: Indeed, among the people who will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection are those who imitate the creation of Allāh. [Musnad Ahmad]. Narrated 'Aisha 🩵 : The Messenger of Allāh 🤍 said: Indeed, the makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: Make what you have created alive! [Musnad Ahmad].

  • Harb al-Kirmānī said: “Whoever opposes any of these doctrines, criticizes them, or disparages those who uphold them is an opposer, an innovator (mubtadi), one who has departed from the Jamā'ah, and has deviated from the way of the Sunnah and the path of truth.” [The Book of the Sunnah from the Masa'il of Harb al-Kirmanī] Al-Asbahānī said: “The Messenger of Allāh 🖇 clarified the Sunnah for his Ummah and made it clear to his Companions. Therefore, whoever opposes the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 in any matter of the religion has indeed gone astray.” [Al-Hujjah fī Bayān al-Mahajjah]. Imām al-Barbahārī said: “It is not permissible for a person to say, So-and-so is a person of the Sunnah, until it is known that all the characteristics of the Sunnah are present in him. He is not to be called a person of the Sunnah until the Sunnah, in its entirety, is found in him.” [Explanation of the Sunnah]. The two Imāms, Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Alī ibn al-Madīnī, said: “The binding Sunnah is such that whoever abandons even a single characteristic of it, or does not affirm it or believe in it, is not from its people.” They then proceeded to enumerate the articles of creed. [Explanation of the Fundamental Beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah]. The Commander of the Believers, Umar ibn Abd al-Azīz, said: “The Messenger of Allāh 🖇 and the rulers after him established practices (sunan). Adhering to them is an affirmation of the Book of Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, a completion of obedience to Allāh, and a source of strength for the religion of Allāh. Whoever acts upon them is rightly guided by them, whoever seeks victory through them will be granted victory, and whoever opposes them has followed a path other than that of the believers, and Allah will leave him to what he has chosen.” [Al-Sunnah by Abdullah]. Sufyān ibn 'Uyaynah said: “The Sunnah consists of ten matters. Whoever possesses them has completed the Sunnah, and whoever abandons any one of them has abandoned the Sunnah.” [Explanation of the Fundamental Beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah].

  • 🔴Are Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā'ah Three Sects? The Messenger of Allāh🖇said: The Children of Israel split into seventy-two sects, and my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in the Fire except one. They asked “Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied “Those who follow what I and my Companions are upon.” The creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā'ah is the creed of the first three generations of Islām (the Salaf). So how can beliefs that were introduced after them, and that contradict the Qur’an, the Sunnah, sound reason, and the natural disposition (fitrah), be attributed to Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā'ah !

  • This clip is from a podcast discussing the benefits of homeschooling and defending it. This kafir woman says: "The smartest people I know in my life are homeschoolers." However, she measures intelligence from a purely materialistic perspective. She says that their success is reflected in how quickly they get promoted at work and how early they enter the workforce. These are standards that ultimately serve the interests of the capitalist system. They also cited studies in this podcast suggesting that homeschooled children in Western societies are less likely to fall into moral corruption, drug abuse, or be influenced by the corrupt school environment, simply because they are not exposed to those corrupt environments the way other children are. And even this ultimately serves the interests of the capitalist system. What truly caught my attention was how confidently they acknowledged the benefits of homeschooling and defended it, all from a purely worldly, secular, and capitalist perspective. Yet many Muslims still hesitate to choose homeschooling, burdened by numerous fears and concerns, even though they are motivated by the fitrah, by the desire to seek Allāh's pleasure, to preserve their religion, to safeguard their families, and ultimately by the hope of attaining the reward of the Hereafter. What's even more ironic is that the same secularist who once rejected the idea, mocked it, and called us backward when we defended it on religious grounds, now accepts it and even defends it after some Western institutions and studies repackaged it in the language of measurable outcomes, statistics, and worldly benefits.

  • The Messenger of Allāh 🤍 said: The strongest bond of faith is to love for the sake of Allāh and to hate for the sake of Allāh. [Musnad Imām Ahmad]. On the authority of Muādh ibn Jabal 💚 he said: Indeed, among those who love one another for the sake of Allāh, under the shade of Allāh on the Day when there is no shade except His shade, there will be placed for them seats of light. The Prophets, the Siddīqūn, and the martyrs will admire them because of their position and closeness to their Lord 📁. [Musnad Imām Ahmad]. On the authority of Abū Hurayrah 💚 the Prophet 🤍 said: Indeed, Allāh 📁 will say on the Day of Resurrection : Where are those who loved one another for My Majesty's sake? Today I shall shade them in My shade on a Day when there is no shade except My shade. [Musnad Imām Ahmad].

  • Imām Ahmad ☝️ said: Whoever intends to fast on the day of Ashura should fast the ninth and the tenth, unless the month is unclear, in which case he should fast three days. (Ibn Sirin used to say that) [Zād al-Musāfir].

  • On the authority of Abu Qatadah al-Ansari 💚 : The Messenger of Allāh 🤍 was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura, and he said: It is an expiation for (the sins of) a year. [Musnad Imām Ahmad]

  • The Decree (Al-Qadar), its good and its evil, its little and its much, its manifest and its hidden, its sweet and its bitter, its beloved and its hated, its beautiful and its ugly, its beginning and its end, are from Allāh 🖇 . It is a decree He has decreed upon His servants and a measure He has ordained for them. None of them can evade the will of Allāh 🖇, nor exceed His decree. Rather, they are all proceeding toward that for which He created them, and they will inevitably fall into what He has decreed for them. And that is absolute justice from Him 🖇. Adultery, theft, drinking alcohol, killing a soul, consuming forbidden wealth, polytheism (Shirk), and all sins and acts of disobedience are by the decree and measure of Allāh 🖇, without any of the creation having any argument against Allāh. Rather, Allāh possesses the conclusive argument over His creation, and: “He is not questioned about what He does, while they will be questioned.” (Quran 21:23) ﴿لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ﴾ [الأنبياء] The knowledge of Allāh 🖇 is effective among His creation by His will. He knew of Iblis and others who disobeyed Him, from the time our Lord was disobeyed until the Hour begins, the disobedience and that He created them for it. He knew the obedience of the people of obedience and created them for it. So, everyone acts for that for which they were created, and is proceeding toward that which was decreed for them. It is known from them that none of them can evade the decree and will of Allāh, for Allāh is the Doer of what He wills. Whoever claims that Allāh 🖇 willed for His servants who disobeyed Him righteousness and obedience, but that the servants willed evil and disobedience for themselves and acted upon their own will, has claimed that the will of the servants is more powerful than the will of Allāh 🖇. And what slander against Allāh is greater than this? Whoever claims that anyone of the creation is proceeding toward something other than that for which they were created has negated the power of Allāh over His creation; this is a fabrication against Allāh and a lie about Him. Whoever claims that adultery is not by the decree is asked: "Have you seen this woman who became pregnant through adultery and brought forth a child; did Allāh 🖇 will to create this child? And did this occur in His prior knowledge?" If he says, "No," he has claimed there is a creator alongside Allāh, and this is a saying that resembles Shirk, indeed, it is Shirk. Whoever claims that theft, drinking alcohol, and eating unlawful wealth are not by the decree and measure of Allāh 🖇 has claimed that this human was capable of eating other than his own (allotted) provision. This statement resembles the sayings of the Magians and the Christians. Rather, he ate his own provision, and Allāh decreed for him that he would eat it in the manner in which he ate it. Whoever claims that killing a soul is not by the decree of Allāh 🖇, and that it is not by His will regarding His creation, has claimed that the killed person died before his appointed time. So, what kufr (disbelief) against Allāh is clearer than this? Rather, it is all by the decree and measure of Allāh, all by His will regarding His creation and His management of them, and what proceeded for them in His prior knowledge. He is the true Justice who does what He wills. Whoever affirms (Divine) Knowledge must also affirm the Decree and the Will, in all its smallness and insignificance. For Allāh is the Harm-inflictor and the Benefactor, the Misguider and the Guide. Blessed is Allāh, the Best of Creators. فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِين. [The consensus of the Salaf by Harb al-Kirmanī].

  • ⚪️ Divination and Astrology Criticized ⚪️ ذم الكهانة والتنجيم On the authority of Ibn Abbās 🖇 the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 said: Whoever acquires any knowledge from the stars (for divination), has acquired a branch of magic. The more he increases (in astrology), the more he increases (in magic). [Musnad Ahmad]. On the authority of Muāwiyah ibn al-Hakam 🖇 he said: I said: O Messenger of Allāh, we are a people who have only recently left the Age of Ignorance, and Allāh has brought Islam to us. Among us are people who go to fortune-tellers. The Prophet 🖇 responded: «Then do not go to them». [Musnad Ahmad]. On the authority of Umm al-Muminin Aishah 🖇 she said: Some people asked the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 about fortune-tellers, so the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 said to them: «They are nothing». They said: O Messenger of Allāh, sometimes they tell us something that turns out to be true. So the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 said: That is a word of truth which a jinn snatches away, then drops it into the ear of his companion like the clucking of a hen, and they mix with it more than a hundred lies. [Musnad Ahmad]. Abu Hurayrah reported the Prophet 🖇 said: Whoever goes to a soothsayer or fortune-teller and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad 🖇. [Musnad Ahmad].

  • Imām Al-Shafii 🖇 said: I love that one frequently sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at all times, and I consider it even more recommended on Friday and on the night preceding it. I also like the recitation of Surat Al-Kahf on Friday night and during Friday because of the reports that have come concerning it. [Al-Umm by Imām Al-Shafii].

  • 🔵 Do not ask people for anything 🔵 لا تسأل الناسَ شيئًا Abdullah ibn Masūd reported that the Prophet Muhammad 🖇 said: Whoever is afflicted by poverty and seeks to remove it by turning to people, his poverty will not be relieved. But whoever turns to Allāh 🖇 , Allāh will soon grant him sufficiency, either through an immediate death (ending his worldly need) or through an immediate richness. [Musnad Ahmad]. Samurah ibn Jundub reported that the Prophet Muhammad 🖇 said: Begging is a wound by which a person disfigures his face. Whoever wishes may preserve the honor of his face, and whoever wishes may abandon it, except that a man asks one in authority, or asks for something from which he has no alternative. [Musnad Ahmad]. Abu al-Aliyah al-Riyahi reported that the Messenger of Allāh 🖇 said: Who will guarantee for me that he will not ask anyone for anything, and I will guarantee Paradise for him? Thawban gave his word: I will. From that point on, he did not seek help from anyone. [Musnad Ahmad]. Abdullah ibn Umar reported that the Prophet Muhammad 🖇 said: A person will continue begging until he meets Allāh 🖇 while there is not a piece of flesh left on his face. [Musnad Ahmad]. Abdullāh ibn Umar reported that the Prophet Muhammad 🖇 said during his sermon: The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is the giving hand, and the lower hand is the asking hand. [Musnad Ahmad].

  • 🔵Seeing the Face of Allāh the Blessed and Exalted 🔵رؤية وجه الله تبارك وتعالي From Umar ibn Thābit al-Ansārī, from a man among the Companions, from the Prophet 🌑 who said: No one among you will see his Lord until he dies. [Musnad Ahmad]. From Abū Hurayrah 💚 who said: The people said : O Messenger of Allāh, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Prophet 🌑 said : Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds? They said: No, O Messenger of Allāh. He said: Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on the night of the full moon when there are no clouds? They said: No, O Messenger of Allāh. He said: Then you will see Him on the Day of Resurrection just like that. [Musnad Ahmad]. From Abū Mūsā al-Asharī 💚 who said: The Messenger of Allāh 🌑 stood among us and said five statements: Indeed, Allāh 🖇 does not sleep, nor is it befitting for Him to sleep. He lowers and raises the scale (of justice). The deeds of the night are raised to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is light. If He were to remove it, the radiance of His Face would burn everything His sight reaches among His creation. [Sahīh Muslim].

  • May Allāh accept from us and from you 🌹

  • On the authority of the Mother of the Believers Umm Salama 📁 who said: Allāh -the Almighty and Majestic- descends to the lowest heaven on the Day of Arafah and says to the angels: Look at My servants they have come to Me disheveled seeking the bounty of My pleasure. O people of Arafah, I have forgiven you.
