﷽ Reminder from the Scholar: Shaykh Sālih Al-‘Uthaymeen -May Allah have mercy on him- ▪️The eclipse▪️ The truthful one who is believed (i.e the Prophet ﷺ) said in what has been established from him in Saheehayn and other than it; regarding when the sun eclipses: «إن الشمس والقمر آيتان من آيات الله يخوف الله بهما عباده، وإنهما لا ينكسفان لموت أحد من الناس، فإذا رأيتم منها شيئاً فصلوا وادعوا الله حتى يكشف ما بكم» “Indeed the sun and the moon are two signs (from the signs) of Allah, that Allah uses to cast fear in his slaves. They do not eclipse on the account of someone's death. So, if you see anything from it, then pray and make supplication to (Allah) till it is cleared from you”. Similarly, in another Hadith found with Bukhari: (هذه الآيات التي يرسلها الله لا تكون لموت أحد ولا لحياته، ولكن يخوف الله بها عباده، فإذا رأيتم شيئاً من ذلك فافزعوا إلى ذكر الله تعالى ودعائه واستغفاره) “These two signs that Allah sends is not due to the death or birth of someone. Rather, Allah frightens His slaves by it. So, if you see anything from it then hasten to make remembrance of Him the Most High, and call upon Him and ask for His forgiveness.” Furthermore, from Asmā bint Abi Bakr, May Allah be pleased with him and her, she said: (لقد أمر النبي ﷺ بالعتاقة في كسوف الشمس) “The Prophet gave command that slaves should be set free”. Thus, these are 7 things of which the Prophet ﷺ commanded with whether it’s a solar eclipse or lunar eclipse. 1. Performing the eclipse prayer. 2. To make supplication. 3. Seeking forgiveness. 4. Making Takbīr. 5. Remembrance of Allah. 6. Giving charity. 7. Freeing a slave. Source: مجموع فتاوى ابن عثيمين (290/16) ___ Translated by: Abu Mālik Nāsir Al-Ma’mary t.me/nameforusyourmen

  • بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم ◾️Taking pictures of animate beings and its connection to Shirk◾️ Answered by Shaykh Abu Hamza Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - may Allah preserve him - 📩🔹Question: Whats the link between making pictures of animate beings and Shirk? 📩🔸Answer: Picture making is an avenue and means for Shirk, like what’s found in the Hadith of Aisha - may Allah be pleased with her - that Um Salama mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a church named ‘Maariya’ she had seen in Ethiopia. She told him about the pictures that was inside it, to which the Prophet ﷺ said: (أُولَئِكَ قَوْمٌ إِذَا مَاتَ فِيهِمُ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ ـ أَوِ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ ـ بَنَوْا عَلَى قَبْرِهِ مَسْجِدًا، وَصَوَّرُوا فِيهِ تِلْكَ الصُّوَرَ، أُولَئِكَ شِرَارُ الْخَلْقِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ )‏" “When a righteous slave or a righteous man died amongst them, they would build a place of worship over their grave and illustrate pictures therein. They are the most evil of creation to Allah.” ____ Translated by: Abu Mālik Nāsir bin Rāshid Al-Ma’mary Telegram link to the channel: t.me/Bashuaiben Original Fatwa: t.me/Bashuaib/7950

  • بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم ◾️Some of the evidences that taking pictures of animate beings is severely prohibited◾️ Answered by Shaykh Abu Hamza Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - may Allah preserve him - 📩🔹Question: Is taking pictures of animate beings from the major sins? 📩🔸Answer: Yes it’s from the major sins, and this is due to what has come of threats in its regard: ➖”The angels do not enter a house in which there is a picture or a dog”. ➖”The makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life that which you have created’. ➖”The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be those who try to imitate the creation of Allah, the Most High”. ➖”Every picture maker is in the fire, the soul will be breathed in every picture made by him and it shall punish him in Hell”. ➖ “Whoever makes an image will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe the soul into it but he will not be able to do so”. ➖”Who are most unjust than those who try to create something like My creation? I challenge them to create even a smallest ant, a wheat grain or a barley grain”. ➖”A neck will come about from the Fire on the Day of judgment, It will have two eyes which can see, two ears which can hear, and a tongue which can speak. It will say: 'I have been left in charge of three: -Every obstinate oppressor, -Everyone who called upon a deity besides Allah, -And the image makers” ➖The Prophet ﷺ cursed the picture makers. Imām Nawawi, May Allah the Most High have mercy upon him, said: "These hadith's are clear cut in the prohibiting of making pictures of animals, and that it's prohibition is severe." [End of speech] He also said: "Our companions and other than them from the scholars, have mentioned that picture making of animals is prohibited with severe prohibition and that it’s from the major sins, due to the severe threat cited in the hadiths. And whether it’s made in a manner which degrades it or other than it, making it is prohibited regardless, because it carries resemblance to the creation of Allah, the Most High. Similarly it’s the same whether it was imprinted on clothing, or carpet, or on coins, or money, or food containers, or on a wall, or other than it." • ﷽ Benefit from the Allamah, the Mufti of the kingdom Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzān -May Allāh preserve him- ▪️No Ijtihad when there’s presence of clear textual evidence▪️ [Q] Virtuous Shaykh, if a Mujtahid has with him clear proof, does he say “this is the ruling of Allah” or “does he say this is my Ijtihaad”? [A] Clear proof doesn’t have Ijtihaad in it, there’s no Ijtihad with textual evidence. If there’s clear proof, the evidence is taken and there’s no Ijtihaad. Ijtihaad is only when there’s no clear evidence, where it is ambiguous, evidence that which may be open to interpretation, that’s when there can be Ijtihaad. As for clear textual evidence, the evidences are acted upon and there’s no Ijtihaad here, there’s no Ijtihaad when there’s textual evidence, yes. Some of the scholars also declared disbelief of Muammar Gaddafi, yet despite that verdict, they didn’t advise the youth of Libya to revolt against him for this very same principle: “if changing an evil will bring about greater evil, then wisdom necessitates what? Remaining upon the first evil”. Yes, because the legislation came with what? It came to ward off evil. This is changing of evil, and what? Minimising it (not enlarging it). You now by your action, will it reduce it? It will only increase it, and the legislation didn’t come for this. The legislation came to actualise benefit and to accomplish it and to ward off evils and eliminate it. So, now we come out with the conclusion from the enquiry of the questioner, when does it become permissible to revolt upon a ruler? We say: it’s permissible to revolt against this ruler if the scholars, the Rabaniyoon, issued a ruling cited upon evidence that a particular ruler is a disbeliever, an apostate, and there’s available capability of changing him and removing him. As for if there’s no capability and there’s indications pointing to greater evils or harms, then wisdom necessitates to have patience until Allah a decree of Allah comes to pass. This is the speech of Ahlu-Sunnah. As for speech coming from people of desires (who don’t pay attention to the Salafi principles and take advices from the Sunni scholars etc) then we don’t listen to it, rather put your fingers in your ears firmly until you are safe from what? The claims of the people of desires. That is the religion of which we worship Allah with. The same way as we take the religion for the prayer, Sadaqah, Fasting, Hajj, we take the religion the same way for this topic on how we deal with our rulers, and Allah the Most High knows best. Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk. ____ Translated by: Abu Mālik Nāsir bin Rāshid Al-Ma’mary Official English Channel: t.me/Bashuaiben Source: t.me/Bashuaib1/3875

https://t.me/bashuaiben ▪️ What are the circumstances that make revolting against a Muslim ruler permissible?▪️ 🍃Shaykh Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - May Allah the Most High preserve him🍃 🎙️….the Prophet ﷺ received pledge of allegiance from the companions, like what Ubādah bin As-Sāmit said: “We pledged allegiance to the Messenger ﷺ on hearing and obeying whether it’s at times pleasing and times not so pleasing, and that we don’t dispute the command of its people (the people of authority), except if you see clear cut disbelief of which would be with you proof with Allah (over them)”.The hadith is in Bukhari and Muslim. “We pledged allegiance to the Messenger ﷺ that we will hear and obey”. Which is not to rebel, during pleasing and times not pleasing, through times of difficulty and times of ease, in all circumstances, raised prices, lowered prices, during times of fear, times of safety, times of harmony, times of war, in every situation، in prosperity, in adversity, hearing and obeying is obligatory, in pleasure, in what’s disliked, in hardship, in ease, and that we don’t dispute the command of the people of authority, and we don’t provoke upon him, nor do we dispute his authority of rulership except - the situation being asked about on when revolting becomes permissible. What is this situation? He ﷺ said: “Except if you see from them Kufr Bawāhan”. What’s the meaning of Bawāhan? That which doesn’t carry any interpretation for it. And who issues this ruling that a ruler has committed a disbelief that is Bawāhan? The scholars issue this verdict. And which scholars? (Is it just any so called scholar?!) Which scholars issue a verdict in these matters? The scholars, The Rabāniyoon, the truthful, the advisers to the Ummah, advisers of the religion of Allah. It’s not the Takfiriyoon, the Qutbiyoon, the Khawārij. No, only the scholars of the Sunnah, because the scholars of the Sunnah issue verdicts with evidence, from the Book of Allah, and from the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ, upon the understanding of the Salaf, whether it’s in this topic, the topic of rulership and declaring disbelief or other than it from the matters, all of it upon the understanding of the Salaf. They issue a ruling based on the Book and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf. “Except if you see from them Kufr Bawāhan of which would be with you proof with Allah (over them)”. Not from mere desires. It’s only that which counts as a proof. And where is evidence derived from for Islamic rulings? From the Book and the Sunnah. Only then it becomes permissible to revolt upon what? Upon the ruler. Okay (let’s say now), the ruler disbelieved, then the scholars Rabaniyoon declare the ruler to be a disbeliever, another matter remains, which is what? Capability of removing him. Removal of him is considered what? It’s considered changing an evil, and changing an evil if it will lead to greater evil, then wisdom necessitates what? For example, this ruler of which the scholars have declared disbelief upon, disbelief that exits a person from the religion of Islam cited by evidence, apostate, and the situation makes it permissible to revolt against him but this ruler has power (army, artillery, planes etc) and he is a tyrant (resistant for removal) and he has force. If people stood against him and they don’t have preparation that can face what this ruler has of power, if they revolt against him, he will assault them whereby blood will get shed. And perhaps they may violate honours and loss of wealth, whereby they won’t be able to achieve what they want. So, wisdom in this situation requires what? Revolting?! Wisdom here would require what? Patience until Allah decrees a matter that comes to pass. During the time of the Imāms, the Imāms of the recent times, Albaani, bin Baz, they declared some rulers as disbelievers, the likes of Saddam Hussein, they explicitly declared disbelief of him. Bin Baz was clear in declaring disbelief of him and despite that, he didn’t advice the youth of Iraq to revolt against him. Why? He was someone of force and strength.

  • t.me/nameforusyourmen 🎙️Excerpt of a Jumu’ah Khutbah delivered by the noble Shaykh: Abul Hassan Ali bin Al-Huseyn Al-Hajāji, may Allah preserve him ▪️Every man is a male, but not every male is a man▪️ ….the one who adheres to the legislation of Allah and to the religion of Allah, even if he were from the weakest of people, then he is a man, he is a man O slaves of Allah❗️ Manliness is not standing out with muscles, and it’s not twisting of the moustache. Some people today, they (wrongly) understood that the meaning of manliness is twisting the moustache, flexing muscles, and killing people without right, and taking the wealth of people in falsehood, to other than that of the arrogance made as such by the cowardly, and what is made as such by some of the reckless, they assume that is what manliness is. No, you are mistaken O Slave, your assumption is erroneous. Manliness is clinging on to the Quran and Sunnah, Manliness is adhering to what Allah says and what His Messenger ﷺ said, Manliness is clinging on to the religion of Allah Aza wa Jal. That is what manliness is, and for this reason when Allah Aza wa Jal described those people and the best of people of whom were amongst the Messenger ﷺ, Allah Aza wa Jal said: Verily, the Masjid whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety is more worthy that you stand therein (to pray). In it are men…Look at this description, In it are men who love to purify themselves. And Allah loves those who make themselves clean and pure. It’s not the people of the coffee shops, nor is it the people of cinema, nor is it the people of sin, or those people who are like trees when the caller calls and they’re just wandering around in the market places. It’s not the likes of these people. In it are men who love to purify themselves. And Allah loves those who make themselves clean and pure. Their places are in the houses of Allah, you find them in the houses of Allah. When the caller calls, then they are the first to the houses of Allah the Most Glorious, the Most High. Those are the real men, it’s not the people of clubs and supporters of ball games and the likes of this. The likes of these aren’t called men, rather they are labelled as males. Thus, not every male is considered a man. Every man is a male and not the other way around. ____ Translated by: Abu Mālik Nāsir bin Rāshid Al-Ma’mary Source: t.me/AliAlHajjaji/7562

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم ▪️ “Who is the Sunni?”▪️ Answered by Shaykh Abu Hamza Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - may Allah preserve him- 📩🔹Question: “How does a person become Salafi?”. 📩🔸Answer: “While remaining upon Islam - this is the Salafi - and then doesn't deviate into any innovation. And when Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyaash was asked: "Who is the Sunni?"—this same question. Who can answer with Ibn 'Ayyaash's answer? He was asked: "Who is the Sunni?" What did he say? *Student answers* He said: "He is the one who, when desires (I.e deviant beliefs) are mentioned before him, does not show fanaticism toward any of it". This is the Sunni. This is the Sunni: "when desires (deviant beliefs) are mentioned before him, he does not show fanaticism toward any of it", he remains upon Jaaddah! Yes, even if he is a layman, even if he is afflicted with some sins, sins do not take a person out of the Sunnah. What takes a person out of the Sunnah is innovation. Listen carefully: we have narrowed what is broad. We have started applying the terms "Salafi" and "Sunni" only to students of knowledge. So-and-so is Salafi, meaning he is a student of knowledge, bearded, and outwardly upright. This is narrowing what is broad, may Allah bless you. It is narrowing what is broad. The Salafi is the one who is not an innovator, this is the Salafi. Then they are of different levels: some are upright, some are knowledgeable, and some are negligent or fall short. And among the common people, not from the students of knowledge or the people of knowledge, but he is Sunni! because he is not an innovator; he is not a Hizbi. This person is Sunni. Pay attention, may Allah bless you. Do not narrow what is broad. Do not restrict something that the legislation has not restricted. So the Sunnah are the "Sawaad Al-A'tham"; they are the true Muslims, and those who became Hizbis have left it. Yes, and a person is with whom he loves. Many common people love the Sunnah and the people of the Sunnah, and they have no innovated beliefs, they are Salafis. Yes, Salafis from Ahlussunnah”.
