I was invited to the U.S. Embassy and American Councils event to mark the opening of the American Makerspace Qarshi. And not only as Abbos, but also as the Next Stop Karshi (NSK) leader. But unfortunately, I was not able to make it. Anyways, always grateful, for being part of the U.S. Embassy and American Councils, and for the fact that they truly support Next Stop Karshi. Regarding Next Stop Karshi, I admit I was not very active on social media, but I have put a big effort behind the scenes. I was finally able to make Next Stop Karshi a tour operator in Civitatis.com, a global-level player in the tourism industry based in Europe, Spain. If you pay close attention to the tourists in the streets most of them are coming from Spain. It means the spanish market is big enough and they are very interested in Uzbek culture and history. So, afer negotiations, emails and calls, finally got it done. Yess, you can congratulate. What does it mean for Next Stop Karshi? It means the project is no longer a local gig, but a serious organization offering the very first tours in Karshi on a respected international platform, with millions of users. THAT IS HUGE, ngl. Also, the tours have been specified for Italian and French audiences. I believe that Next Stop Karshi is not only creating a chance for Europeans to pay a visit to Karshi, but also proudly representing what Karshi has but never shown - fascinating history and culture. Overall, Next Stop Karshi is not dead, but living its life fully✨ ***I still need a volunteer for the social media pages of the project. If you are good friends with Canvas, Adobe apps, and can work with the brand colors of NSK, dm me pls: @atuychiev Just wanted to let you know about the things, will be back again with updates, maybe after 6 months (joking)✨ @abbosspath

We are being recommended by the best! The Uzbekistan Tourism Ambassador from the United Kingdom and author of the Brad Guides, Sophie Ibbotson encouraged her followers to visit Karshi and shared the Next Stop Karshi website on her X platform (Twitter). I am proud to announce that Next Stop Karshi has officially become the face of Karshi in international tourism and travel! This is a major step forward for the project, earning recognition from key figures in the tourism industry. Next Stop Karshi continues to put the city on the map, literally, on Google Maps and figuratively to support visitors coming to Karshi. @nextstopkarshi

  • 🌟Next Stop Karshi continues to contribute to tourism development in Kashkadarya! 📍At the newly established Miraki Tourism Zone in Shakhrisabz district, you can now see a photo of the Khoja Abdulazizkhan Madrasah in Karshi taken by the Next Stop Karshi Team. Our photos are actively being used by Uzbekistan’s official tourism authorities to promote Kashkadarya’s tourism. These images were originally uploaded to Google Maps by the Next Stop Karshi two years ago. 🇺🇿We are proud of this achievement. Showcasing Karshi’s rich historical heritage to the wider public has always been one of our main goals and today, it’s bearing fruit! The photos are taken from this post: Link @nextstopkarshi

  • Welcome to the Shayx Shibli Historical Landmark! Just near Karshi lies the peaceful resting place of the renowned scholar Shayx Shibli. Surrounded by tall trees and serenity, this mausoleum features a unique architectural design that reflects the region’s spiritual heritage. Though little is known about Shayx Shibli’s biography, historical sources suggest that even Alisher Navoiy mentioned him in his writings, a testament to the Shayx’s influence and legacy. Near the mausoleum, you’ll also find an old mosque that, at first glance, resembles Ottoman style architecture. At Next Stop Karshi, we’re proud to bring attention to this hidden gem by adding it to Google Maps and sharing its story with the world. Whether you’re a curious traveler or a local explorer, take a moment to visit this meaningful site and uncover a piece of Karshi’s rich history. We hope this helps you discover something new! • Next Stop Karshi Discovery of the Year! Our team never expected to discover such a beautiful and forgotten historical site near Karshi — the Karshi District Dasht Cultural Center. Built in the 1960s–70s, this grand palace features tall, European-style columns, high ceilings, and striking architecture. Every detail whispers a lost era of cultural pride. Behind the building, we found a large hall, likely once a cinema or theater, now broken and silent, but still majestic. Next to the palace stands the monument of Chuli Begimqulov, the first governor of USSR Kashkadarya. It feels like Karshi’s version of the Lincoln Memorial is small, damaged, but dignified. But the condition of the palace is heartbreaking. The roof is cracked, windows shattered, columns crumbling. Time and neglect are erasing it. We truly hope the Karshi Government will take action to preserve this place and restore it as a cultural house or museum that the public can visit and be proud of. If you’re near Karshi, pay a visit.
