NUM School of Public Policy

On August 12, at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, NUM’s undergraduate and graduate students majoring in law, international relations, public policy, and the digital economy attended a presentation of research findings entitled “Toward Inclusive and Resilient Housing in Cambodia.” It was a privilege for the NUM research team to present its findings at a meeting presided over by H.E. Dr. Say Sam Al, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, together with Lok Neak Oknha, Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, and distinguished colleagues from the Ministry. Our students were honored to attend this fruitful knowledge-sharing session, particularly to learn about research methods from experienced researchers. We would like to express our profound thanks to the Ministry for giving our students such a wonderful learning opportunity.

Today, H.E. Prof. Dr. HOR Peng, Rector of NUM, and the NUM research team were honored to present the findings of “Toward Inclusive and Resilient Housing in Cambodia” to H.E. Dr. SAY Sam Al, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, together with Lok Neak Oknha, Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, and distinguished colleagues from the Ministry. The research findings were presented by Prof. Phim Runsinarith, Dr. Kim Veara, Ms. Ly Sokunthy, and Ms. Tie Porly, covering the project overview, literature review and secondary data analysis, qualitative and quantitative findings, and key conclusions and recommendations. NUM sincerely appreciates H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry for their valuable time, insights, and guidance to the research team.
