33-Year-Old Man Arr€sted for Allegedly Setting Wife Abl@z€ in Kogi. A 33-year-old man, Jacob Irewa, has been arr£sted for allegedly setting his wife, Berida Irawo, abl£z€ following a d0m€st!c disput€ at Oworo Estate, Felele, Lokoja. According to the police, the disput€ started after Berida allegedly burnt some of her husband’s clothes which she believed he no longer used, without his permission. The suspect reportedly became angry, fetched petrol from his motorcycle and allegedly s€t his wife on fir€. I got one of the most devastating report this evening, as a follow up to the pregnant married woman who brought her boyfriend to knack in her house yesterday. Two years into their marriage the boyfriend who is now the husband, was supposed to get 2 plots of land, build a Bungalow and have enough space for the kids to play. Chill, let me tell you what would break you up this evening, just the way it broke me up. This lady is a ɗɛvíI. The kidney of his girlfriend failed. The only thing that could survive her was a medical tour to India for a kidney transplant. He took the bold step to shoulder the financial responsibility for the wømąn he loves. He sacrificed not just the money for his building for the kidney transplant, but also donated one of his kidney over there in India and the operation was successful. As I dey type this thing ehnnn I just dey shed tears. The wømąn now cheating on him in his matrimonial bed is alive today because of his own kidney. He said to me, "comrade, I for allow her kpai dat time if say I know". I had to encourage him and refused to say what was in my mind. It is an unforgivable offense. They held the family meeting this afternoon and the man had concluded that while he insist that the marriage come to an end, he doesn't want her disgraced. Shaiiiiiiii. I sincerely wanted to post her picture and dare the consequences of a court action but the man's decision, choked me. The problem right now is the mother of the man. A married man who went to work in the morning has been calling his 4 months pregnant wife since 3pm this afternoon but no response. At about 6pm, he returned from work and queried the wife about her not taking his calls since afternoon. She apologized and set the dinning table so the husband could take his dinner. People of this world the food is still on the dining table till now for more than an hour. He opted to take his bath before eating, only to enter into their restroom to meet an un-flushed used cøndøm. The same two bedroom flat he left this morning and no one stays with them. The rage, the anger and hostility he wanted to unleash. I just told him right now never to lay his hands on her. I advised him to just snap for evidence, call his family and the wife's family to see what has happened. I also told him not to flush it as well. Up till now, the woman is still begging that she doesn't know how a used condom got into the toilet of their master's bedroom.
