The Oyo State Police Command has arrested 10 suspected syndicate dealers in human parts and recovered suspected human body parts and charms from them. The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan. According to Ayanlade, the suspects were apprehended at separate hideouts in Iseyin and Saki following months of intelligence gathering and discreet surveillance by operatives of the command’s monitoring unit. He said the recovered items had been secured for forensic examination and further investigation, while the suspects were assisting investigators in determining their source, method of procurement and intended use.
