When one door closes, God opens another that leads you in the path He wants for you 🤍 A closed door is not a closed destiny, Our Lord Jesus is not only the Way-maker, HE IS THE WAY HIMSELF. FOR 10 YEARS OF BEING IN FAITH, HERE ARE 10 THINGS I HAVE LEARNED THAT I WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU. 1️⃣. In this spiritual life, ONLY ONE thing will produce genuine joy, and that’s obedience. Jesus says in John 15:10-11 that, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” Disobedience may offer temporary pleasure, but it ultimately leads to guilt, emptiness and Spiritual dryness. 2️⃣. God’s timing is always perfect. He does not miss His target. He’s either on-time or in-time. 3️⃣. Don’t run after people, or things in general, pursue God and He will bring the people/ things that you NEED. 4️⃣. God has not called us to fight any battles on our own, face every battle with prayer however small it may seem. 5️⃣. Your past has purpose. God does not waste our pain, rejection, past wounds. He uses them all to rewrite our story. God wants to heal/deliver you, then hand you the keys to heal/deliver the world. 6️⃣. Gratitude changes EVERYTHING. Thank Him in every season. Thank Him in pain, Thank Him in joy, Thank Him in sorrow, Thank Him in rejection. For He’s good and His mercies endures forever. 7️⃣. God is always faithful. Even when we doubt. We’ll one day look back and see that He actually kept His word. Joshua 21:45 says, “Not one of the Lord’s promises to the house of Israel failed.” 8️⃣. PRAY ALOT, Prayer changes you and your situation. Only God is able to make you into the person you’re meant to be, You can not make yourself. 9️⃣. We have far more authority in Christ than we realize Every believer has been given spiritual authority through their union with Jesus and it grows as you grow in His presence. It can grow to a point of commanding the earth 🔥 Jesus gave us an example by cursing the fig tree. Learn to speak with so much authority in the place of prayer. We command on our knees and things happen in the physical 🔟. Pray with scriptures. Take scriptures very seriously. Praying God’s word is so powerful. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. He did not use logic or emotions, He decreed the word of God and defeated the enemy in the wilderness.
