🎨 Medical illustration : Normal Blood Flow vs. Aortic Dissection An aortic dissection is a tear in the inner layer of the aorta that leads to a progressively growing hematoma in the intima-media space. Risk factors for aortic dissection include age and hypertension. Patients typically present with sudden onset severe pain radiating into the chest, back, or abdomen. A widened mediastinum on chest x-ray is characteristic of the diagnosis. The diagnosis is usually confirmed with CT angiogram in stable patients and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) in unstable patients. Treatment options range from conservative measures (e.g., blood pressure optimization) to surgery (aortic stent graft), depending on the localization and severity of the dissection. Complete occlusion of branching vessels and aortic rupture are common complications. Even with treatment, mortality rates associated with aortic dissection are high. -Amboss

السلام عليكم صديقي ليث خريج طب النهرين سنة 2024 ، مهتم جدا بأختصاص (الكسور - Orthopedic ) .. حسب كلام زملائه واساتذة الجامعة .. وكلامي ايضا فهو من أفضل الطلاب بهذا المجال. عموما ، سوة كورس يخص ال Trauma بالكسور اعتمادا على المصدر apley رغم الجهد الي بذله بتسجيل وكتابة المحاضرات ، الكورس هذا مجاني بشكل كامل رابط قناة التليكرام وداخلها موجود playlists بخصوص كل موضوع

مرحبا دائما جنت أُعجب باللوحات الطبية وشون تم رسمها بهذه الطريقة بالذات لوحات Netter واللوحات التوضيحية الي موجودة بتطبيق amboss. بعد التخرج ، صار عندي واهس ابدأ بشيء جديد واحب اسوي وهو الرسم الطبي medical illustration 🧠🎨 للي ميعرف هذا المجال ، هذا اختصاص اكاديمي يُدَرّس في بعض الجامعات حول العالم ، تدخلها بحيث تتخرج منها وانت رسام طبي محترف وهذا التخصص مو مجرد رسم لوحات بطريقة حلوة ، بالخارج يستخدمون هذه المخططات التوضيحية كجزء من شرح المرض للمريض وايضا بالبحوث العلمية كطريقة للشرح اكاديميا فضروري تكون صحيحة علميََا بإختصار ، من تكتب تبحث عن حالة طبية بكوكل اول شيء تسويه شنو ؟ تروح لل images كُل ما يظهر هناك هو عبارة عن رسم طبي. هذا الاختصاص ممكن أيضا يُستخدم بالبحوث العلمية والمخططات الي تشمل pathways والي تشوفوها بالمحاضرات هذه مجموعة من الأعمال اللي رسمتها بالفترة الأخيرة وسويت حساب خاص أعرض بيه شغلي بهذا المجال: @yousifalaa_medicalart أرحب بكل ملاحظة أو اقتراح

الشغف وفقدان الشغف - تحت المجهر It was challenging to combine everything I learned how to do into a single piece with a complicated topic .. I tried to summarize what is actually happening in our brains during motivation and lack of motivation (Anhedonia) which is one of the most important topics to study as we commonly face it (in a non-pathological amount ) and its a common symptom in many psychiatric and neurological disorders such as Major depressive disorder, Alzhimer's disease , Stroke and Parkinson's disease which negatively impact a person's quality of life. This work is a blend of the Medical Illustration , graphic design and visual art representation of what Anhedonia looks like .
