The way I see the football question is that it's a sphere of influence that we can either have a voice within or not have a voice within. We can correctly identify that the sport has been captured and appropriated by the regime and boycott based on principle, but the constant state of retreat doesn't actually produce any positive results for us and is ultimately precisely what the regime wants.
