Guide to Improved Power Efficiency on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (r8q) Running AOSP By: @joaquimiguel 1. Installing Larois Kernel - Install Larois using the same procedure you followed to install your ROM. Then wipe the Cache partition and reboot the device. After rebooting, disable the Unmount Modules option in the root manager (RKSU) settings. 2. Module Configuration - Install Magic Mount MetaModule and reboot your device. - After reboot, install the modules provided at the end of this guide. Reboot your device: After the reboot: - Open your root manager → Modules - Kona Thermal → In the WebUI, select Battery mode → Ready → Battery. - Reboot your device. 3. Display Refresh Rate Adjustment - In the device settings, under Display, set the refresh rate to 60 Hz or 120 Hz. Never select the "Dynamic" option unless you want greater energy consumption.
