What’s a small detail or mechanic from older games that quietly disappeared, and you really miss it? For me, it’s fully interactive environments and physics. Games like Red Faction: Guerrilla let you blow through literally any wall, and even early 2010s titles had subtle details like NPCs reacting dynamically to weather, light sources, or physical impacts. Nowadays, a lot of modern games have incredible graphics, but the worlds often feel completely static - doors that won't open, clutter glued to tables, and walls immune to rocket launchers.
