  • Book for the plane I have to fly on Saturday, leaving at 6:30am. I absolutely hate flying and I will be exhausted from being up since 3am (but cannot sleep on a flight 🤣) I need books that are so good they will keep me awake and also keep me totally distracted from the fact that I’m on the plane. Preferably mystery/thriller but no Frieda! I lean more toward literary fiction but have read & loved most Alice Feeney. https://redd.it/1vn8qxn @r_suggest

  • Looking for something to read with music as main focus or an important part of the story, but emotionally distraught. Looking for stories that contain music as a main focus can be any genre, any type of story, can include dance too. However, I'm looking for stories that are sad, bittersweet, or emotionally resonant, perhaps a bit nostalgic if possible. I wish to feel emotionally devastated with music as the background. Bonus points if it's based or an actual true story. https://redd.it/1vn51qc @r_suggest

  • Can someone suggest me a short light easy palette cleanser book? I just finished The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and I need a light read to get my spirits back up. Preferably something without any sadness or heavy topics. I’m okay with any genre but fantasy. https://redd.it/1vn3vun @r_suggest

  • Suggest me a philosophical fantasy or sci fi book Something akin to ursula k leguin or ted chiang. I love it when I question everything after reading. Like after I read some of ted chiangs shorts stories I thought to myself huh I never thought of that or considered it from this angleichen intresting. I am looking for books that challenge me mentally and intellectually https://redd.it/1vn6j2g @r_suggest

  • WW2 or WW1 with epic fantasy? You know how A song of Ice and Fire by GRR Martin is the war of the roses but with fantasy? Is there any equivalent but for WW2 or WW1? The only ones that come to mind is the Darkness series by Harry Turtledove and the Poppy War trilogy by RF Kuang https://redd.it/1vmvxea @r_suggest
