  • Relevance of traditional blackboard based SLOW learning in the era of fast AI - Focus & Absorption: Blackboard teaching enforces a speed limit that matches human cognitive capacity, while keeping students focused on taking notes rather than digital distractions True Ownership vs. Fast Answers: Having AI deliver instant answers is not the same as acquiring knowledge. True ownership of an idea is proportional to the time and effort invested in understanding it The Value of the Process: The ultimate goal of studying stong foundations isn't long-term concept memorization, but proving to yourself that you have the persistence to tackle complex topics Deep learning, problem solving skills and Strong foundational skills allow learners to adapt no matter which specific technology becomes obsolete "AI cannot alter human character—"AI cannot change people, but you can change AI"

  • • India has slipped from the 4th largest economy to the 6th in dollar terms. • The shift is due to the IMF’s revised GDP estimates and changes in exchange rates. • India’s GDP for 2025 is now estimated at about $4.1 trillion instead of the earlier higher estimate. • The UK and Japan have moved ahead of India in nominal GDP size. • India had briefly become the 5th largest economy in 2022, but the latest estimates changed the ranking. • The rupee has weakened against the US dollar, which reduced India’s dollar GDP value. • The article says India’s GDP ranking reflects dollar conversion effects, not necessarily a collapse in real growth. • IMF projections suggest India may return to 4th place in 2026 and move to 3rd by 2031. • The gap between India and the countries above it is still manageable, so India can regain rank if growth continues. • Main takeaway: the fall in ranking is mainly a currency and valuation effect, while India’s long-term growth path remains positive.
