🤖 AI Prompt of the Day – Generate Comprehensive Test Cases Instead of asking AI: «"Generate test cases"» Try this: Act as a Senior QA Engineer. Based on the following requirement, generate comprehensive test cases covering: • Positive scenarios • Negative scenarios • Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) • Equivalence Partitioning (EP) • Edge cases • Error handling • Validation checks Present the output in a table with: - Test Case ID - Test Scenario - Test Steps - Test Data - Expected Result - Priority 💡 Pro Tip: Paste your User Story or Requirement below this prompt for much better results. 📌 Save this prompt for future use. #AI #SoftwareTesting #QA #TestCases #PromptOfTheDay
🚀 AI Prompt of the Day – Playwright Automation Stop asking AI: «"Write Playwright code for login."» Instead, use this prompt: «You are a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright using JavaScript. Build a production-ready Playwright automation solution for the following scenario: Scenario: [Describe the feature] Follow these requirements: - Use Playwright Test with JavaScript. - Follow the Page Object Model (POM). - Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code. - Use robust locators (prefer role, label, test-id, and CSS only when necessary). - Avoid hard waits; use Playwright auto-waits and explicit assertions. - Add meaningful assertions and proper error handling. - Parameterize test data where applicable. - Generate Page Objects, Test Files, Utility Classes, and Test Data files if needed. - Follow Playwright best practices and coding standards. - Suggest edge cases and negative test scenarios. - Explain the folder structure and how to execute the tests. - At the end, review your own code and suggest any improvements before presenting the final solution.» 💡 Pro Tip: Mention your existing project structure, naming conventions, and coding standards in the prompt. AI will generate code that matches your framework instead of creating everything from scratch. #Playwright #JavaScript #TestAutomation #SoftwareTesting #QA #AI

👋 Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted here, but I'd like to make this community active again with content that's genuinely useful for QA professionals. Vote for the topic you'd like to see the most. I'll start sharing short, practical posts (2–3 minutes to read) that you can apply in your daily work. If you have any other suggestions, drop them in the comments. 🚀

🚀 A Message for All QA Professionals If you haven't started using AI tools in your day-to-day work yet, now is a good time to begin. The industry is changing rapidly. Today, generating code, automation scripts, test cases, SQL queries, API requests, and documentation is no longer the biggest challenge—AI can assist with all of these. However, what remains irreplaceable is: ✅ Requirement understanding ✅ Critical thinking ✅ Review and validation skills ✅ Domain knowledge ✅ Testing mindset AI can generate output, but it still needs an engineer who can verify whether that output is correct, maintainable, secure, and actually solves the problem. Many organizations are already using tools such as: 🔹 ChatGPT 🔹 Claude AI 🔹 GitHub Copilot 🔹 Gemini 🔹 Microsoft Copilot 🔹 Cursor AI 🔹 Windsurf 🔹 Perplexity AI 🔹 Amazon Q 🔹 Qodo (CodiumAI) 🔹 Tabnine 🔹 Sourcegraph Cody These tools can help with: ✔️ Test Case Generation ✔️ Automation Development ✔️ API Testing ✔️ SQL Queries ✔️ Debugging ✔️ Code Reviews ✔️ Documentation ✔️ Learning New Technologies My personal observation: Once you become comfortable with one AI tool, learning and using others becomes much easier—just like many of us started with Java and later worked on Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. 💡 The tool is important, but the fundamentals are even more important. AI may not replace QA Engineers. But QA Engineers who use AI effectively may have an advantage over those who don't. Hope you understand the intent behind this message. Happy Learning & Happy Testing! 🚀
