Signs of Sincere Repentance Before Reconciliation 📥Question📥 🔸A sister asks:🔹 "A woman is married to a husband who does not pray, denies some of the rulings concerning fasting, zakāh, and dutifulness to parents, argues about the punishment of the grave, and on other issues takes his views from the internet. She remained patient with him, and now she has been staying at her family's home for a year and has requested a divorce. He then asked her to return to him and said that he would repent. If she refuses to return to him, will she be sinful if he continues upon his actions, assuming that he truly will repent? And if her returning to him would be a cause for his sincere repentance not merely so that she returns to him?" 📤Answered by:📤 🎙Ash-Shaykh Abee Abdirahman-Rashaad Ibn Ahmad Ad-Dhalee'e ((حفظه الله)) If being reunited with him would truly be a reason for his sincere repentance, and not merely for the purpose of getting her to return, then among the signs of sincere repentance is that she sees him repent before she returns to him. So, if he genuinely repents, regrets what has come from him, and she sees from him a sincere repentance before returning to him not that he merely pretends to repent until she returns and then abandons it then we advise her to return to him and help him upon repentance, and to be a means for his guidance. If, after that, she sees him playing games, then she should leave him. Likewise, if he is merely playing with this matter of repentance, and it is only a claim made to deceive her into returning to him, while there are no signs of genuine repentance, then it is not permissible for her to return to a man who does not pray, denies the punishment of the grave, and denies some of the issues and rulings related to fasting and zakāh. These matters are disbelief (kufr). The one who denies the rulings of the prayer, fasting, or zakāh, denies the punishment of the grave, and abandons the prayer this is disbelief, and it is not permissible for her to remain with him. https://t.me/rashadEng1/344 https://t.me/rshad11/19718

The Effects of One's Deeds Become Apparent Upon One's 🎙Ash-Shaykh Abee Abdirahman Rashaad Ibn Ahmad Ad-Dhalee'e ((حفظه الله)) Explains⤵️ Indeed, from the immense wisdom of Allaah is that whoever performs good in this worldly life, Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, clothes him with the garment of goodness; and whoever commits evil is clothed with the garment of evil. Actions even if they are concealed and not outwardly visible do not remain imprisoned within the heart. Rather, their effects become apparent upon a person's face, demeanor, guidance, speech, and all of his affairs. Whoever does good, Allaah, the Exalted, places upon his face and in his conduct the marks of goodness. Every believer recognizes them especially those whom Allah has granted sound discernment (firāsah), by which they perceive and distinguish between people. And whoever commits evil, its effects become evident upon his face. It has been narrated from Uthman ibn Affan (May Allaah be pleased with him) that he Said:⤵️ "No one conceals an inner secret except that Allaah clothes him with its garment: if it is good, then it is good; and if it is evil, then it is evil." No one conceals what is within himself and strives to hide it from the people if it is goodness that he conceals while struggling against his soul to be sincere for Allaah, not wishing the creation to know of it except that Allaah causes its effects to appear upon his face. Likewise, if he conceals evil, wrongdoing, and acts of disobedience, persists in them, and becomes someone who watches the people while not watching Allaah, then Allaah causes the effects of that to appear upon his face. The sincere believer, whose faith is true, recognizes it. https://t.me/rashadEng1 https://t.me/rshad11/19558

The Answering of the Supplicant Is Broader Than Merely Granting Him What He Asked For 🎙Ash-Shaykh Abee Abdirahman Rashaad Ibn Ahmad Ad-Dhalee'e ((حفظه الله)) ♦️ Explains ♦️ Reflect on this verse:⤵️ How He said, “I will respond to you.” Likewise, in the verse in Sūrat Al-Baqarah: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then indeed I am near. I respond to the supplication of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” Responding or answering the supplicant is broader than granting him exactly what he asked for. Thus, there is a difference between answering a supplication and granting the specific request. Allaah, the Exalted, has promised that He will answer the supplicant, and everyone who calls upon Him, He answers him. The Prophet ((ﷺ)) explained this response in his statement: ⤵️ Either Allaah gives him what he supplicated for, or He averts from him an equivalent amount of harm, or He stores it up for him for the Day of Resurrection. Thus, everyone who supplicates to Allaah. Allaah answers his supplication. His answering of the supplication is either that He gives him the very thing he asked for, or that Allaah averts from him some harm equivalent to the thing for which he supplicated. The person himself does not know of it, but Allaah knows it, and He knows that what is best for him lies in averting that harm from him. So, through his supplication, He averts the harm from him. Otherwise, that supplication is stored up for him, and he is rewarded for it on the Day of Resurrection in the Hereafter. Therefore, everyone who supplicates to Allaah, his supplication is answered. It is a mistake for a person to think that the answering of a supplication means only that he is given the exact thing he specifically asked for. For Allaah is more Knowing and more Wise. He knows best the condition of the servant and what his affair will ultimately lead to, so He Glorified is He chooses for him what is better than what he would choose for himself. As some of the Salaf Said:⤵️ “If the decree were unveiled to a person, he would choose for himself nothing except what Allāah had chosen for him. https://t.me/rashadEng1 https://t.me/rshad11/19608
