Obituary: Junior Kingombe, former member of Quartier Latin, has passed away in Paris. Congolese music is in mourning. Former member of the Quartier Latin orchestra, Junior Kingombe died in Paris following a heart attack. A talented artist, he distinguished himself within this emblematic orchestra dear to Koffi Olomide , where he made a lasting impression with his vocal performances. He leaves behind several solos in the albums Monde Arabe and Danger de Mort, as well as a song titled Exploit. His passing is a great loss to his loved ones, but also to the Congolese music family, where he was able to contribute his artistic touch.
