There are a lot of new people here, so you probably have absolutely no idea what’s going on😶 Yep, I’m 28 and I have deforming osteoarthritis(joints of fingers and wrist especially). It’s a chronic condition with no cure, so all you can really do is slow down its progression and keep an eye on it, which is exactly what I do. But flare-ups still happen sometimes, like right now. Nothing terrible is going on at the moment, though. I just need to rest more and probably take a course of systemic NSAIDs. Everything has already been prescribed by my doctor, so no worries🫡

Honestly, I have no clue why it flared up. I’ve been following my routine and haven’t pushed myself any harder than usual. I guess life just keeps throwing weird curveballs at me so I don’t get a chance to relax💀 I mean, okay, I can deal with pain after drawing, but pain even after resting?? BRO... 💀 (Sorry, I’m just feeling a little frustrated) Also, thank you all so much for the birthday wishes! They truly made me really happy🥹🖤

I've been following one artist for years. We even did an art trade a long time ago, and back then I really admired their work. They were one of those artists who made me want to study harder and actually improve. And now I saw their latest two YCHs and… I don’t know. I got this awful sinking feeling that they might have been traced over AI-generated images😭😭😭 I genuinely hope I’m wrong. But the feeling itself is just so gross and sad. Because this isn’t someone who can’t draw. This is someone with real skill, years of experience and big audience. And that’s what makes it feel worse. When an artist is already good, people don’t expect this. Now I’m just sitting here with this really awful feeling 😞 (By the way, I don’t have proof. It's just the gut feeling of an artist who’s been looking at art for 16 years. I just wanted to share my feelings… and also show you a WIP)
