In some countries, it is now possible for people to buy a wide variety of foods transported from all over the world. To what extent do the benefits of this development outweigh the drawbacks? Nowadays, people, in some countries, can buy a wide range of foods that have been imported from the different parts of the world. While it has negative effects on local producers’ crops, the advantages of this trend outweigh the drawbacks. This essay will provide examples why the benefits of this development are far more superior than the disadvantages. To begin with disadvantages, one drawback of the availability of a wide variety of foods that have been imported from all parts of the world is that it can reduce demand for locally produced crops. For example, fruits which are imported from hotter parts of the globe often taste better than their alternatives in the local market. As a result, most people prefer buying these natural and freshly imported fruits instead of local ones. This,in return, affects local production negatively On the other hand, there are several benefits of importing food from other countries. First of all,when a wide variety of foods become available in the local markets, the cost of food will eventually drop, since there are wide range of choices available to locals preventing particular local producers from controlling the market. Consequently, there will be healthy competition among producers improving also economies in the world based on agriculture, so there is a great demand for food in those countries. For instance, in Luxembourg, most of the land is not suitable for agriculture, so they import food from different countries, thereby reducing food waste in exporting countries. By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm that people having a chance to buy food that has been transported from all over the world can affect local production negatively, but overall, it is a positive development because the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. As expected, he could not finish his task 1 on time which resulted in a such low score. Anyway, his score for task 2, which is a solid 8.0, shows that his level of writing is far higher than the one demonstrated in his certificate. I can’t understand why not give him what he deserves even if he got what was needed for Reading to get an 8. Later, he will send his Task 2 report for which he got an 8.0.

Here is my task 2 report

The graph below shows the sales of 5 types of items in four different seasons in a US department store in 2011. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The bar chart compares the sales figures for 5 types of clothes in a particular US department store in 4 different seasons in 2011. Units are measured in US dollars. Overall, they were women's clothes which were the most popular items with customers across all 4 seasons in 2011. Notably, winter was a season when a US department store had the least income from the sales of 5 types of items given in the chart, while autumn was the season when the sales had their greatest boost. This shows that US department store sales increased gradually during the year of 2011. Looking more closely at the bar chart, it can be seen that women's clothes dominated in terms of sales figures across all 4 seasons in 2011, having a stable increase from 40,000 dollars in winter to approximately 110,000 dollars in autumn when the sales of women's clothes reached their peak. In contrast, men's clothes, cosmetics and jewellery had some fluctuations in terms of their sales throughout 2011, with the lowest figures (around 20,000 dollars) in spring and the highest figures (between 30,000 and 50,000) in autumn. Focusing on sports equipments, summer was the season with the lowest income coming from sports equipments, making up 20,000 dollars. Yet, in spring and autumn, 40,000-dollar-worth sports equipments were sold which was the double income of the sales figure in summer.

Lately, I took a mock test from Ad-Astra(founders: Mukhammadali and Alisher). Since they are the most credible 9ers, I decided to give it a shot and practise my skills before taking the real test. Because I got an 8 from Writing, I wanted to share it with you so that you can learn something from it 😉

#Alhamdulillah 0.5 shy of 8 🤦 but the news is we have an OSR. We have 2 months to retake one skill. We are planning to retake Writing since he could not finish his writing on time. We will definitely make it to the top, ultimately reaching 7+ from Writing which will make it an overall 8 with no score less than 7.0!🎯

In today’s world of advanced science and technology, we still greatly value our artists such as musicians, painters and writers. What can arts tell us about life that science and technology cannot?       Although science and technology are believed to play an important role in people’s lives, the significance of artwork, such as music, paintings and poems, should not be neglected. This is because only artists can convey messages related to personal feelings and creativity to others. Admittedly, latest advances in the field of science and technology have been of paramount importance for many people around the world. For example, the field of medicine is greatly benefitting from advanced technologies which are created by scientists: surgeries have become much easier with the help of drugs (anesthesia) and technological gadgets which help to monitor patients’ general health during operations. Furthermore, the creation of AI has allowed people of different professions to accomplish their daily tasks more easily. Language acquisition, moreover, has become simpler because unlike in the past, learners can gain 24-hour access to educational resources provided by AI platforms, namely Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude. These advantages, all together, make technology and science play a very vital role in human evolution. However, personal feelings and creativity are what technology and science lack but artists possess in their masterpieces. All renowned pieces of music, poems and paintings created by artists involve certain meanings, such as love, respect and anger towards some people or events. Take the official anthem of Football World Cup as an example, by listening to lyrics of anthem in depth, the one can understand and feel the significance of football. Similarly, before creating a piece of art, painters try to bring the real-life scenario into reality. For instance, Vermeer was a famous artist who drew the pictures of people’s lives in his neighborhood or an entire country. Personally, the one which appealed to me was a portrait of his maid cooking a pudding for his family; this picture showed a real lifestyle and culture of people in the past. Additionally, the stories written by well-known writers, namely Alexander Pushkin and J.K. Rowling, can be clear examples of creativity because the way they create their own characters in their stories makes readers visualize these characters effortlessly. In conclusion, although advanced science and technology have made our personal and professional lives easier and more comfortable, I believe that conveying people’s personal feelings and the way they create new things are what make artists and their work special.   384 words

i guess the answer for 36 should be TEXTILE PRODUCTION INDUSTRY but it was counted wrong for the right answer was TEXTILE itself.
