Octavius is an awkward as fuck drow necromancer. At first glance, he can seem genuinely intimidating, but in reality, he’s just terrible at talking to people. Reading strangers’ intentions is difficult for him, and he tends to feel threatened very easily, often reacting with violence far too quickly. The drow also doesn’t care much about social norms. He eats his enemies simply because he hates wasting perfectly good meat. And honestly, that’s not the only weird thing he does. Most people who know him are terrified of how dangerous he is. Some even want to kill the "beast" to make others feel safer, though Octavius himself doesn’t fully understand why. It becomes a vicious cycle: he’s afraid of people, he attacks -> people become afraid of him and want to get rid of him -> he doesn’t understand their reactions, which only makes him fear others even more. The necromancer has no real home, and his only companions are the dead he brings back to life. He usually survives by hunting in the woods or by taking low-paying, temporary jobs, though he struggles badly whenever they require social interaction. He never stays in one place for too long, moving on once his reputation becomes bad enough. Deep down, he feels lonely and misunderstood, but he has no idea how to form genuine relationships and is deeply frustrated by whatever is “wrong” with him. Octavius is about 180cm and usually looks malnourished. His skin is pale, grayish purple. Reminds a corpse, especially with the heavy dark circles under the eyes. His hair can be about waist-length or even knee-length. He trims it when it gets in his way or gets too tangled. He lost both his eyes and his right arm at some point in the past, though he managed to restore them through magic. The right side of his face is heavily scarred, and nearly half of his right ear is missing. He usually hides that side beneath his hair because he doesn’t want to scare people. The drow mostly wears dark clothing: dark shirts, fitted black trousers, and a slightly worn black trench coat with a bit too-long belt tied mid his waist. He almost always wears gloves, especially on his right hand, to hide the glowing green skeletal arm underneath. Whenever he stays in cities, he also wears a hooded cloak to hide his eyes under the hood as much as possible. He needs a friend desperately and I want to give him one in the future xD...

Woohoo, a humanoid character! Octavius is still in progress, but I'll put all of the current info about him in the comment below. It's almost funny, but recently I was analyzing my characters and how I create them, and I make them subconsciously to match the moment I'm at in life, I guess. For the past half year, I've been torn between embracing and struggling with an AuDHD diagnosis (so many things became clearer after thirty years...
