Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant — there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing.

AP Results are out. More than 10 of my students got perfect 5s on their AP Statistics and Calculus BC exams. We only prepared with them for about 4 months which is half of the College Board’s actual curriculum timeline. So happy for them!

🗣️ We’ll let these do the talking today. 📸 Four of our students. Four real replies from researchers at serious universities, writing back to high schoolers. One of them offered a call. Another said she’d help the student develop her own research idea. A third asked to keep the conversation going on Telegram. 💭 If the thing holding you back is “who am I to email a professor,” read those again. Every one of these students was thinking the exact same thing right before they hit send. ⏳ Still a few Premium spots open. Message us @scholarconnect_uz

Broken leg, or why men shouldn’t stay at home Most people who know me well know that for the past two months, I have been going hiking or to the mountains almost every week. There are many benefits to it. It makes you more confident, more resistant to stress, and the views are worth it. But for me, the best part was horse riding. On every one of these trips, I rode horses. I don’t know why, but it gave me a level of energy and stress relief that I couldn’t get anywhere else after having exhausting week. I think tennis was probably the closest thing. But two weeks ago, I had my last horse ride so far because I broke my leg. I know I probably shouldn’t have tried since it was rainy, but still. These two weeks made me realize that I never truly appreciated the blessing of being healthy. Imagine going to the shop on your own feet. Sounds normal, right? Now try doing it with one foot. Maybe it’s because we mostly see healthy people around us, people who can walk, talk, hear, and see. But there are so many people out there who can’t. This experience taught me to appreciate what I have and what it really means to be healthy. Secondly, this leg injury stopped all my work. I couldn’t do anything except lie down. At first, doing nothing might sound relaxing, but it actually isn’t. Men are created for pressure, for constant movement and work. Staying at home too much makes you inactive. I realized that having a busy life, where you only wish for some rest, is actually a blessing. So yeah, go do something. Leave the house. Find something that challenges you or drains your energy in a good way, because a lot of bad habits appear when you are too free and too available. I hope I recover soon because this is honestly killing me. And the first thing I’ll do after recovery is horse riding(my mom will kill me if she finds out 😂😂😂). Have a good night.
I don’t know if it’s just for me, but Samarkand became the worst place for travel for me. People I met are sooo unfriendly, restaurants I went in are basically scams and everything is sooo annoying, even traffic lights. Is this just an unlucky coincidence or reality?
Central Asian Activism in Education In a few days, you will be taking your APs. And we all know what will happen. You will see things that are not supposed to happen. You will see cheating. You will see unfairness. When you do, speak up. Don’t let anyone scare you with canceled scores or empty threats. If you are in the right, you have nothing to fear. Together, we will hold them accountable. @valeranotes
🎉 Welcome to Georgetown, Sardor! Sardor Xamdamov, a Rahimov School graduate and founder of ScholarConnect, has been admitted to Georgetown Qatar and the University of Toronto to study International Politics! Sardor took the 2025 Special Full Support program led by Sanjar, also working with Valera, Sega, and Malika. As part of the program, he received support with all writing components of the application, extracurricular strategy, and more. An assistant on two Harvard research projects, Sardor explored Soviet-era music and photography, assisting with the translation and analysis of Uzbek newspapers and other media. Furthermore, his team at ScholarConnect has helped 100+ students connect with university professors to gain exposure to academic research. 💭 Reflecting on his journey with Freshman, Sardor said: “Freshman was truly a program that had a strong impact on me. It is more than just classes or consultations, it feels like a family where every mentor cares about you. I worked closely with Sanjar on my profile. We started by building extracurriculars and writing cold emails, and then moved to essays. I remember meeting almost every day to revise my essays with Sanjar just to come to conclusion by Valera that it is ‘bs’ 😂😂. However, all those sacrifices of sleep paid off. But for me the journey-process of seeing myself grow-mattered more than the destination. I thank the Freshman team for their effort, dedication, and constant support.” 🌟Sardor has enrolled in Georgetown Qatar and will begin his studies in the following year. Wherever his path takes him, we wish him the best of luck on his journey through politics, research, and startups! @freshmanblog
