يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱصۡبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ  [سورة آل عمران: ٢٠٠] · #Quran

إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَٰنًا عَرَبِيّٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’ān that you might understand. [‏Az-Zukhruf 43:3] One of the scholars of tafsir said: "Look at the correlation. Allah عز وجل says here: We have made the Quran in an Arabic language and He wants us to ponder. This means that no one can truly, fully ponder over the Quran except for them learning the Arabic language." Ustaadh حفظه الله (the one sharing this benefit of the Sheikh) goes on to say: "My advice to everybody inshaAllah ta'ala in general is wallahi don't give up. The truth is that the amount of people that will be here after 3 months is like 5, maybe 3. A common notion is when people start a course for learning the deen, they can't stay consistent." When Allah عز وجل describes the believers entering Paradise in groups, He says: ‎“until, when they reach it, (and) its gates have already been opened..” ‎But when Allah عز وجل describes the disbelievers entering Hell in groups, He says: ‎“until, when they reach it, its gates are opened..” The two verses are almost identical in Arabic. ‎The difference is in the letter (و-waw) before the phrase “its gates have been opened” ‎The explanation is that the gates of Paradise are already open, ready to welcome the believers before they arrive. The (و-waw) indicates that the gates were already opened when they reached Paradise. ‎But for the people of Hell, the gates are opened when they arrive, as in case for a prison, The doors of prison is closed but it opens for the prisoners This makes the scene even more terrifying: they suddenly reach Hell, and its gates are opened before their eyes. A single letter in the Qur’an can carry such a beautiful meaning.
