We are delighted to share our latest publication in Colorectal Disease, a leading Q1 journal in surgery.🎉🥳 This article is particularly important because it demonstrates NOSES VIIIb right hemicolectomy with transrectal specimen extraction in a young woman. Unlike the commonly used transvaginal route, the transrectal approach provides an alternative natural-orifice extraction strategy that may better address fertility-related considerations in young female patients while maintaining oncological principles. This work presents a detailed video demonstration of the complete surgical procedure. This publication was co-authored by: Ziming Yuan, Yuliuming Wang, Guiyu Wang, Artur A. Ibatullin, Polina D. On 12 May, we held a meeting on one of the core aspects of oncologic colorectal surgery: lymph node dissection. The session covered key principles, important anatomical landmarks, and modern techniques for safe and effective lymphadenectomy. Operative video demonstrations were also included to provide a practical, step-by-step view of real surgical approaches. The session was presented by Niloofar Rouzy and Mohammed Fared Faizal.
