That heavy rain made us stop hiking😭

As if I were in a fairy tale🥹

Why is Kaindy Lake called “ghostly”? Kaindy Lake is often described as a “ghost lake” because of its mysterious, almost unreal appearance. 🌲 The trunks of submerged Tien Shan spruce trees rise from the turquoise water, creating the illusion of a drowned forest. 💧 The water is extremely cold, which has helped preserve the trees underwater for more than a century. 🌫️ Add the fog, silence, and surrounding mountains… and the whole place feels like something from a fantasy movie. That’s where its ghostly, haunting beauty comes from. 👻

We rent a house in the village near Kol-say for 2 days (The lake I visited) It was cheaper than a hotel. It looks like “dacha”,but the owner of the house makes us food three times a day and wash all dishes herself (I love this part a lot🙂‍↔️)
