[]. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was supposed to protect America from cross-border crime. How ironic of them now that they've been violating their own purpose by ignoring human rights: disturbing children's safety, entering people's houses without a judicial warrant, deporting people just because, posting ignorant TikTok contents, shooting, and much more. ABUSE TO THE DETAINED. The true purpose of ICE was to stay within the borders and to look out at what might be wrong, not violence. Many immigrants who already went through legal processes still got detained and deported, including naturalised American citizens only due to the colour of their skin or their accent. This even includes children. A woman with her 5-year-old daughter who were detained in the Chicago Airport had reported that the food they provided wasn't edible, and they didn't even give them water to drink—which are clear signs that they're abusing people, both adults and children. SHOOTING THE INNOCENTS AND CHILDREN MISTREATMENT. Not "only" abuse, the ICE also holds the accountability of the death of a lot of people. Some of them are Renee Nicole Good (37); one of the ICE agents shot her from the side of the car when she was still in it, even though she wasn't putting him in any danger. Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse, was fatally shot as well during an immigration enforcement action in Minneapolis on January 24th. Moreover, though it's not a murder case, Liam Conejo Ramos, who is just 5 years old, had to be used as a "bait" to make another adult living in the home come out for them to arrest, which has unfortunately turned fatal. HARM TO THE PROTESTERS. Another addition: the agents had caused harm (throwing tear gas, doing physical abuse) to the other US citizens as well because they were fighting for the rights of the immigrants that were violated, as if the agents were blocking every way for the immigrants to have their own rights. Something that's supposed to protect the citizen, ends up being the very thing that haunted their every waking moment. Nothing will be worth more than your support towards those who need it.
