Every fear that passes through your mind is the enemy’s attempt to pull your focus from God’s voice. Those who walked in exploits first walked in oneness with Him; and that oneness required overcoming fear. John, exiled on Patmos, was stripped of every physical comfort. No shelter. No provision. No protection. In that completely helpless state, he had to face and conquer the spirit of fear before he could receive heaven’s revelations. God does not overstep the principles you live by. He honors what He has commanded—and He commanded the lamp to stay lit. If the flame is weak or gone out, it’s not because God didn’t show up—it’s because the keeper of the house let it die. Your house is your garden, and God has given you the authority to command order within it. The condition of your spiritual atmosphere is your responsibility. Just as the Levites were instructed to never let the fire go out in the temple, you have been entrusted to keep the fire of God alive in your home. The fire doesn’t burn on emotion—it burns through principle and consistency. Morning and evening, let intercession rise. This is your divine assignment.
