XeTrinityz (TSM): Notice of Discontinuation – Android Version I am discontinuing development and support for the Android version of the mod. Maintaining both the Steam and Android versions has become increasingly difficult to manage as a single developer. Over time, working on the Android version has shifted from something I enjoyed into something that feels more like a responsibility, especially given that I do not personally use or have access to an Android device. Going forward, development will continue exclusively on the PC (Steam) version, which is where I remain actively interested and engaged. The existing Android version will no longer receive updates, fixes, or support. There is a possibility that the Android version may be made open source in the future, allowing others to continue development if they wish. Thank you for your understanding,

Hello, my friends. It is me, artDev, also known as Maxim. I know, long time, no see, but there's an important matter at hand. Have you heard about the new Langit release? Have you perhaps heard that it's not based on Canvas and doesn't contain any of the open-source code? Well, they lied to you. The latest release of Langit, a supposedly "standalone APK", reuses quite a bit of Canvas code while telling you that they do not. Two pictures are attached to this message. One is from the Canvas Open-Source GitHub repository. One is from the symbol names of the main library used in the Dukun Langit APK. Do you notice some interesting similarities? In fact, if you take apart their release yourself, you may find even more similarities, like the video view which is stolen verbatim to the source in the GitHub repository. They also tried hiding their tracks by obfuscating most of the Java code. This, of course, raises the question: what other things are the developers of Dukun Langit lying to you about?

XeTrinityz (TSM): That Sky Mod's Future After 10 months of dedicated work and effort, I regret to announce that development of That Sky Mod will be coming to an end. The continued challenges of the games detection methods and the consistently high ban rates have made continuing the project ultimately pointless. As someone who works on this project in their free time, I find it no longer worth the effort to constantly try to find a way around their detection methods. The current detection methods make it practically impossible to create a stable and safe mod experience, and I cannot in good conscience continue to expose users to potential account sanctions. Thank you for understanding, and I apologize to those who were hoping for continued updates and support but all good things must come to an end. Regards,

Hello Canvascord, Writing these kinds of letters is usually not my strong suit, but I suppose I will give it a shot. It's now been just about five years since I first started modding Sky. Over the past five years, I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of amazing people on a lot of amazing projects, and it fascinates me how much we've managed to get done since then. This whole experience has been nothing but fun and rewarding for me, and deep gratitude goes to all the people who walked this path alongside me. Watching this wonderful community of ours grow from a couple of dozen people in a Discord server for game guardian scripts to now tens of thousands of people using our tools or just hanging out with us across platforms has been incredible. Thinking back to when I began, I probably wouldn't have believed that one day I would stand in the position I am in now, and I want to thank all of you for making my time here so enjoyable. That being said, alas, all good things must come to an end, and for me, the time to call it quits is now. Some of you might be aware of this, but I've been working with TGC on and off for the past three years, give or take, and since last year, that cooperation has only been growing more solid. As a result, I am now getting hired for a position that I've been interested in ever since I started on this journey of mine. TGC has been very forthcoming in this regard and gave me a choice to make. After thorough consideration, I have made the decision to take the better option/opportunity that I was given, and I will hence have to cut my ties with the modding community as a whole. It's been a lovely time with all of you, and I hope that not much will change for you after I leave. Most projects that I am currently involved with have people who can replace me or have already done so, so I'm certain that enough of you bright minds will pool together to eventually make the remaining ones come true. Ownership of my GitHub repositories will most likely be transferred, and I will have myself demoted here. Whether I will be able to stay on this server in the long term, even if I do relinquish my status as a mod developer, remains to be seen due to the nature of the community here. However, I will remain in contact with the many good friends I have made here over the years, regardless of the outcome. I hope that all of you can accept my decision I am hereby effectively retired from being a Sky modder indefinitely, and there will be no exceptions made. Questions about modding, whether past or ongoing projects, or my involvement with TGC in any capacity will not be answered. Assistance or support with anything related to my projects or Sky in general will not be provided, and I will most certainly not share any information about TGC's internal affairs. Luckily, I still have a bit of time until the contracts get finalized, so in the meantime, I will try to pass on some of my knowledge to people who I deem capable of continuing my work if they so desire. However, as soon as my employment is settled, even all of those discussions will come to an end. Wishing you all nothing but the best for your own future. Affectionately, Lukas
