Сміливі відновлювати | Brave to Rebuild

Dear volunteers, donors, and the Brave to Rebuild community, 🚐 We're funded! Last night, one donor reached out to us saying he decided to cover the final few hundred USD. We’re now already in the process of looking for and buying the van.  A huge thank you to everyone of the 85+ people who helped us get this far, and a special thanks to the 8 volunteers who decided to make their own mini-fundraiser. This was a huge success. Because some of our volunteers have expressed they want to keep raising funds for their mini-fundraisers, we will keep the fundraiser going until the end of August. The extra funds that come in will go to vehicle maintenance, including the full inspection at the start.  When the vehicle is ready, we’ll post a report to our GlobalGiving page listing and explaining the expenses we used the funds for. You can expect another report after that one, detailing how we’re using the additional donations we receive. Stay tuned, and thank you for helping us successfully reach this major goal 🧡

🚐 In January, after a long day of emergency response work, one of our vans broke down on the way home. We thought it would be a routine repair. Instead, it turned into hundreds of dollars in costs, and the van broke down again almost immediately after leaving the repair shop. Unfortunately, this wasn't the last time one of our vehicles let us down. This story is one of the reasons we're raising funds for a reliable volunteer minivan. Навчання проводитиметься українською та англійською мовами. Properly sealing a broken window frame protects homes from bad weather, helps preserve remaining property, and prevents further damage to the space. For homeowners, it’s a way to avoid additional costs during the most difficult moment. This training is open to everyone: whether you're planning to join your first emergency response deployment or you're an experienced volunteer. The training will be held in both Ukrainian and English. 🚐 Last winter, our volunteer minivan broke down beyond repair. Since then, we haven't been able to operate at full capacity and have had to reject requests and dump funds into repairs. That’s why we launched a fundraiser for a reliable 9-seat minivan, and we’re still working toward our $12,000 goal. For many years, it has been a place that brought people together through culture, art, and meaningful events. Now, it needs our help. Together with GogolFest and Repair Together, we invite you to join our volunteer cleanup and help restore the building and its surrounding area.
