5: S3 Now HEAR ME OUT it was an amazing season and I loved it but it was pure torture for me from start to finish bc of the deal and it was overall extremely depressing and sad to watch but not bad AT ALL 4: S5 same as S3 but better since we got the finale + Lucifer was a great villain but got like NO screen time which I hate but overall I absolutely loved this season and the finale was amazing 3: S4 the angels + my pookie Castiel were introduced and were so scary and awesome and mysterious until they turned out to be huge dicks and the story with Sam and how the brothers had changed so significantly was done so well and the plot twist at the end was mind blowing though I wish we got more of Lilith 2: S1 an almost perfect season. The intro was great and their hunts were what made supernatural work and the cat and mouse game with their father was intense enough to keep us engaged but not too much for season 1, not to mention the ladt few episodes were so good on the boys' relationship with their father and their complexity 1: S2 this was imo the perfect season. It had by far the best villain (sorry Lucifer) and the single hunts were very charming without being out of place (in S5 and S4 they felt very out of place considering the stakes) and the new characters and the final episodes and plot twists were done so well, specially Azazel's death and it just had the charm of S1 while having a great meaningful villain to chase and defeat and overall it was all I wanted from a show.

Okay since I'm still not ready to start season 6 I'm gonna rank s1-s5

Though I do think it was stupid to end the question on peace instead of freedom cause the ENTIRE SHOW was about free will but you can look at it as the peace after they made their own destiny

But then I like to think him standing outside of Dean's house means god let him out and he can live his life too
