🌍 Russian alumni from ten African countries are uniting in Tanzania 🗓️ October 7-8, 2025, the Forum of International Alumni of Soviet and Russian Universities will be held in the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel. The multi-format program of the Forum includes educational, cultural and social events. It will be delivered by leading Russian universities and companies, together with invited representatives of business, governmental authorities and leaders of alumni associations from ten African countries. 🇹🇿🇷🇺 Creating the shared future: LETI will convene Russian and Soviet alumni from African countries in Tanzania Within the forum, leading Russian universities will deliver a multi-format program and professional development courses. The venue will bring together leaders and employees of higher education and healthcare organizations, representatives of government bodies and state corporations, as well as leaders and members of alumni associations from 10 African countries: Angola, Zambia, Kenya, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa. 🎓 Rector of ETU «LETI» Viktor Sheludko congratulates the students and staff of the university on the Day of Knowledge: Today we are starting another, 140th academic year at the First Electrotechnical University. This year, more than three thousand people from different parts of our country - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok - and new regions of Russia became students of LETI. More than 300 students came to study from countries near and far abroad. By entering LETI, you made your first adult choice - your future profession, your alma mater, the city of your student youth. 🎓 Right now the participants of the LETI Summer School are receiving certificates of completion of the additional educational program. ☔️Participants of the LETI Summer School are preparing for the St. Petersburg autumn in Peterhof . The palaces and parks on the shore of the Gulf of Finland are a unique architectural monument, created according to the idea of ​​Peter I. ⛲️150 fountains and 4 cascades make up a single water complex. Each fountain has a characteristic shape, size and even a pattern created by the water jets.

«LETI Without Borders»: Meeting with Vietnamese Partners 🇻🇳🇷🇺 LETI was visited by a delegation from the Le Quy Don University of Science and Technology. The main topic of the meeting - the development of cooperation between universities. 💬 Vice-Rector for International Affairs of ETU «LETI» Anastasia Minina: «Vietnam is an important partner for LETI. From 1965 to 2025, LETI graduated more than 850 Vietnamese students. And the LETI Alumni Association in Vietnam is one of the largest». The meeting participants agreed to exchange teachers and students, develop academic mobility and create joint programs in Russian and English.

👋The participants of the Summer Schools and the Preparatory Department of LETI send their greetings from one of the highest observation decks in St. Petersburg. The climb to the colonnade of St. Isaac’s Cathedral consists of 262 steps and 43 meters of height. At the top, you will find a view of the center of St. Petersburg, including all the famous landmarks - St. Isaac's Square, the Admiralty, the Lakhta Center, Peter and Paul fortress and many more.
