Indian banks have started FY27 on a strong footing — but there’s an interesting twist. 👇 🏦 LOAN GROWTH REMAINS STRONG • Advances: +17.7% YoY | +2.6% QoQ • PSU Banks: +18.0% YoY • Private Banks: +17.4% YoY ➡️ Credit demand remains robust. 💰 BUT DEPOSITS ARE NOT KEEPING PACE • Deposits: +12.4% YoY | +1.2% QoQ • Loans are growing significantly faster than deposits. ⚠️ This means the incremental Credit-Deposit Ratio remains elevated — something investors should watch closely. 📉 MARGINS UNDER PRESSURE NII grew 11.0% YoY, but NIMs came under pressure sequentially.
