📌 A client recently contacted us with the following question: "Why does the profit from a closed winning trade get added to the balance, while the free margin barely increases? And is it possible to track where the profit from the trade actually went?" After reviewing the account, we found that it was using hedged positions. When opposite positions are locked, the margin required for those positions is fully or partially offset. As a result, when one side of the hedge is closed, margin is once again required for the remaining open position.
