Scientifically, the universe spans an enormous range of sizes: from the Planck length, about [1.6 \times 10^{-35}] meters, which is the smallest scale where our current laws of physics may still apply, to the observable universe, about [9.2 \times 10^{26}] meters across. Between these extremes are all the structures we know, from atoms and cells to planets, stars, galaxies, and cosmic filaments, showing that nature is organized across roughly 62 orders of magnitude. In this sense, the universe is not proven to be infinitely large, only extremely vast, because we can observe only the part whose light has reached us.
