Swecha have been extensively working to advance accessible and open-source AI for India... building on the success of initiatives such as Chandamama Kathalu Data Prep, Telugu Story Generator SLM, Swecha Gonthuka, and Swecha ASR, AI Days, Telangana AI Yatra, Summer of AI Internship program (that trained around 60 thousand interns in upskilling in AI and engaged in corpus collection) -- we are proud and excited to share our next milestone.. We have now released draft version of Viswam.ai License in collaboration with SFLC.in -- a copyleft license specifically designed for datasets being developed for AI training, reinforcing our commitment to openness, collaboration, and ethical AI development. Call for Developers! Join DevSprint for EHRS project on 2 August 2025 (Saturday) Swecha has been conducting monthly Free Medical Camps, from March 2023. So far, we have provided medical care to more than 8500 people from underprivileged groups and low income families and in response to our door-to-door campaign, we are seeing an increase in the number of people attending the medical camp. To understand the community needs and provide better health care; To scale up the capacity of the medical camp organizing and process, we are building a Electronic Health Record System (EHRS).
