📘 ICT MACRO STRATEGY This is a smart money-based trading plan focused on identifying liquidity, inefficiencies, and algorithmic behavior before macro sessions (e.g., London or New York). The goal is to align entries on lower timeframes with higher timeframe context using ICT principles. STEP 1: Mark Liquidity & Inefficiencies (Pre-Open) ✅ Buy Side Liquidity (BSL) — Above equal highs (EQH) or prior swing highs ✅ Sell Side Liquidity (SSL) — Below equal lows (EQL) or swing lows ✅ FVG / IFVG (Imbalance) — Gaps in price where orders were not filled Mark these zones before any major session open STEP 2: Timeframe Mapping (Top-Down Analysis) 🔹 Macro Timeframes: Mark liquidity and inefficiencies on: M30, H1, H4 These set the daily directional bias 🔹 Execution Timeframes: Use: M1, M5, M15 to refine entries If you're trading M1, mark FVGs on M5/M15 for stronger confluence STEP 3: Wait for Algorithmic Action Wait for: Liquidity sweep (stop run above EQH or below EQL) Price to revisit a key FVG/IFVG zone This is the area where institutions often engage STEP 4: Confirm with SMT or MSS 🧠 SMT Divergence Two correlated pairs behave differently at key zones e.g. EUR/USD makes HH, GBP/USD does not → possible reversal 🔁 MSS (Market Structure Shift) Price breaks short-term structure in the opposite direction Look for CISD to confirm entry STEP 5: Entry with Bias Alignment Only enter when: ✅ Daily bias aligns (from HTF analysis) ✅ Liquidity has been swept or imbalance filled ✅ MSS or SMT confirms reversal/continuation 🎯 Target next liquidity pool or opposing FVG 📏 Stop Loss: Tight, just beyond liquidity or FVG zone
