Standing back and looking from the 30,000ft view this was race was almost identical to Iowa but for whatever reason it felt like a very different race. Is it just because I’m happy a Toyota didn’t win for a change? Do I just hate Ty Gibbs that much? Maybe?!? We have 2 races left before the Chase so I’m gonna have to talk about points more than I have been. Logano jumping from 20th in points to 9th over the last 6 weeks is just more validation that nascar did a good job making sure wins still mean a lot in the switch back to a championship points system. Larson had a pretty miserable day but still managed to finish 6th. Ryan Blaney continues to hold it down as the only non Toyota driver in the top 5. Onto New Hampshire next week.

The names and ranks of the soldiers have not yet been released all we have so far are these pictures of them. Will update with more info as I receive it
