🔈 Today's Important News for Traders ✉️ 🥇 Gold is trading near $4,325/oz, heading for a weekly decline after profit-taking following this week's rally. 🇺🇸 U.S. July PPI was unchanged, reducing expectations of another Fed rate hike and putting some pressure on the Dollar. This remains supportive for Gold from a macro perspective. 🧼 Brent is around $87, while WTI is near $81, with both heading for weekly gains. 🌎 The U.S. has threatened an indefinite naval blockade of Iran, while tensions around the Strait of Hormuz remain unresolved. Any escalation could quickly impact Oil, Gold, inflation expectations and global markets.

🔈 Today's Important News for Traders ✉️ 🥇 Gold reached around $4,450, its highest level since June, before easing toward $4,400. 🇺🇸 U.S. July CPI came in at 3.4% YoY, matching expectations but falling from 3.5%. The data has reduced immediate pressure for another Fed hike and is supporting risk assets and Gold. 🧼 Brent crude fell to around $87.70, pressured by lower global oil-demand forecasts from OPEC and the IEA and a surprise increase in U.S. crude inventories. 🌍 Despite today's oil decline, uncertainty around the Strait of Hormuz continues to keep energy markets on edge.

The next major directional trigger is today's U.S. inflation data. 🇺🇸 U.S. CPI is due today at 8:30 AM ET. A hotter print could strengthen USD and pressure Gold; softer inflation could support XAU/USD. 🧼 Oil prices are climbing again as renewed attacks reduce hopes of a quick reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. 📈 With crude prices rising, traders are watching whether higher energy costs feed into inflation.
